Viewership data is in for Week 8 of the NXT vs. AEW Wednesday Night War.
This week, we have a split between the two shows, with NXT scoring its first victory in total viewers and AEW getting a win in the coveted Adults 18-49 demographic. AEW actually bested NXT in every demographic group except Adults 50+, where NXT had a significant edge (0.40 vs. 0.29).

WWE NXT Viewership
NXT on the USA Network averaged 916,000 viewers, which is way up from 750,000 last week. In the 18-49 demo, they drew a .30, up from 0.25 last week.
This week’s episode featured appearances from the top stars of RAW and SmackDown, including Becky Lynch (in action against Rhea Ripley), Seth Rollins, Ricochet (in action against Matt Riddle), The Revival (in action against Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly) and many more.
We also saw, a ladder match with NXT Champion Adam Cole vs. Dominik Dijakovic and the final build to this weekend’s NXT Takeover: WarGames and WWE Survivor Series events.
AEW Dynamite Viewership
AEW Dynamite on TNT was watched by 893,000 viewers, down from 957,000 last week. In the 18-49 demo, Dynamite pulled in a 0.39, down from 0.43 last week.
Dynamite saw Nick Jackson vs. Rey Fenix in a hot opener, Hikaru Shida vs. Britt Baker, the Dynamite Dozen Battle Royal, Chris Jericho awarding Scorpio Sky a shot at the AEW World Championship next week and a wild main event featuring Jon Moxley vs. Darby Allin.
