AEW Issues Statement On Jimmy Havoc

Jimmy Havoc will be entering a rehabilitation program for substance abuse and mental health.

Jimmy Havoc will be entering a rehabilitation program for substance abuse and mental health. AEW announced the news recently on social media. Havoc is one of several wrestlers recently accused of sexual misconduct and/or assault as part of the #SpeakingOut hashtag on Twitter.

AEW released a statement that they will evaluate his status with the company and address it after he has finished his rehabilitation program.

“We wish Jimmy Havoc all the best as he receives treatment and counseling in an effort to overcome the mental health and substance abuse challenges in his life.”

Jimmy Havoc In AEW

Shortly after the promotion was announced, Havoc was officially signed to AEW in February of 2019. He is currently part of a tag-team with Kip Sabian. Havoc and Sabian challenged unsuccessfully for the AEW tag team Championships on the May 28th, 2020 show.

The 36-year-old Havoc began his career in 2004. He is a former Progress Champion and once held the promotion’s tag titles along with Mark Haskins as well. Havoc is a former Hardcore champion with Defiant and won CZW’s Tournament of Death 16 back in 2017.
