AEW World Champion Chris Jericho has cause to break out a bit of the bubbly as his world title has officially been returned to him. The Tallahassee police reported they had found the belt yesterday but quickly deleted a Facebook post with the claim. The police department has since been able to confirm it is the actual belt and returned it to the champion.
Jericho would quickly take credit for the belt being returned in the following video (he would also like a ‘thank you’):
The police department would state that the belt was found on the side of the road and turned in by a good samaritan.
Police are asking anyone with any information regarding the incident to call Crime Stoppers.
