Brock Lesnar Wins Men’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match

Brock Lesnar can now call himself Mr. Money in the Bank.

Lesnar won this year’s Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match as he beat Drew
McIntyre, Ricochet, Baron Corbin, Randy Orton, Andrade, Finn Balor, and Mustafa Ali at the WWE Money In The Bank pay-per-view event in Hartford, CT.

Just like the women’s contest, Lesnar will have a contract that he can cash-in anytime that he wants within a year from this pay-per-view event. Obviously, Lesnar wasn’t originally advertised for this match. WWE did a storyline where Sami Zayn, who was supposed to wrestle in the match, was attacked backstage earlier in the night with his spot available. Thus, Lesnar was legally allowed to wrestle in this match.

Since the introduction of this match back in 2015, there have been 19 attempts at cashing in the contract with only 15 successful stars to win a World Title.

John Cena failed in 2012 during the RAW 1000 episode against CM Punk for the WWE Title, Damien Sandow against Cena the following year on RAW for the World Heavyweight Title, Baron Corbin for the WWE Title against Jinder Mahal in 2017, and most recently, Braun Strowman at the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view event for the Universal Title against Roman Reigns.

What are your thoughts on Lesnar winning this year’s men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match? Was this the right call by WWE officials? Sound off in the comment section.
