It looks like we may have seen the last of Chris Jericho for now. After coming up short against Dean Ambrose last night at Payback, Jericho tweeted a farewell message to the WWE Universe on Monday morning.

Jericho returned to WWE back on January 4th to announce he’d be participating in the 2016 Royal Rumble. He went on to partner (and later feud) with AJ Styles before his short program with Dean Ambrose.
It’s worth noting that WWE has been advertising Jericho will be appearing at live events through the summer.
