Eric Bischoff Booked For Starrcast IV
Bischoff’s departure from WWE was addressed briefly last night on FS1’s WWE Backstage last night. Triple H was on the show and spoke about Bruce Pritchard being named as Bischoff’s replacement.
”I don’t know all the details exactly [as to how he got the job]. I’m excited for it. Bruce has been a key figure in this industry over the past 40 years … having Bruce at the helm of SmackDown, he can bring it where it needs to be … He’s going to be making some big moves.”
As of this writing, Bischoff has yet to comment on his departure but did Tweet a message of support to his former co-workers and replacement.
“Bruce is a great producer, good friend and I am certain he is going to thrive in his position. He’s going to be working with a great team of the most dedicated and hard working people I have had the pleasure of working with and getting to know.”
