EFFY is the new GCW World Champion following a dramatic night at The People vs. GCW, held in the iconic Hammerstein Ballroom.
Originally, the championship match was set to feature Mance Warner defending his title against the winner of EFFY vs. Allie Katch. Unfortunately, their earlier matchup ended prematurely after Allie Katch suffered a serious leg injury during a dive, forcing her to withdraw and granting EFFY a default victory.
The main event between Mance Warner and EFFY was a brutal, chaotic clash reflective of their long-standing rivalry. The fight featured brawling outside the ring, the use of weapons such as chairs, doors, and even screwdrivers, and a level of intensity that captivated the audience.
The turning point came when Cole Radrick handed EFFY a guitar, which he used to incapacitate Warner and secure the decisive pinfall.
With this victory, EFFY not only ends Warner’s reign as GCW Champion but also captures his first-ever singles title in GCW, a major milestone after years of contributing to the promotion.
