Jon Moxley Beats Kenny Omega At AEW Full Gear

Kenny Omega vs. Jon Moxley lived up to the hype that was presented by All Elite Wrestling.

Moxley beat Omega in an unsanctioned lights out match at the AEW Full Gear pay-per-view event from the Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore, Maryland.

This was a long-awaited showdown that was delayed from taking place back in August. The reason for that is due to Moxley having to pull out their scheduled match at the All Out event at the Sears Centre in Chicago, IL that aired on pay-per-view.

Moxley had a serious case of MRSA in his elbow that was picked up during his time in the NJPW G1 Climax.

On the October 30th episode of AEW Dynamite on TNT, All Elite Wrestling announced the stipulation for the contest due to the storyline bad blood between the two stars.

Cameras followed Moxley into the office of AEW President Tony Khan’s office where it was revealed that this scheduled match had to be an unsanctioned lights out match as AEW can no longer sanction the match.

What are your thoughts on the outcome of this match? Was this the right call by AEW officials? Sound off in the comment section.
