More details have been revealed for this year’s WWE King of the Ring tournament.
On Tuesday, Dave Meltzer of F4Wonline reported that the tournament will be a multi-week tournament on both RAW and SmackDown.
The plan is for the finals will take place at the Clash of Champions pay-per-view event next month . WWE confirmed the return of the King of the Ring tournament and it starting next week on episodes of RAW and SmackDown Live.
WWE has yet to confirm any of the matchups for the tournament but the competitors in it have been announced.
WWE Clash of Champions takes place Sunday, September 15th from Charlotte, North Carolina at the Spectrum Center.
King of the Ring Participants
There will be 16 participants in King of the Ring with eight wrestlers from RAW and eight stars from SmackDown. Here’s the full list of competitors:Â

As of this writing, no bouts have been officially confirmed for the show. WWE will be announcing matches for Clash of Champions in the weeks ahead.
