Kurt Angle’s 10-year run with TNA Wrestling comes to an end later this month at the conclusion of TNA’s Maximum Impact UK tour.
It had already been announced that Angle will be facing the likes of Bobby Roode and Drew Galloway on the tour. TNA President Dixie Carter announced on Monday that the Olympic Gold Medalist will square off against Bobby Lashley at the 1/31 TV tapings from Birmingham at the Barclaycard Arena.
Angle first announced his retirement from TNA back in November with this video. His first post-TNA gig will be as a commentator for Bellator MMA’s live Spike TV show on February 19. The main event is Royce Gracie vs. Ken Shamrock. Angle has even teased he he might fight Ken Shamrock later this year, but he’s been flirting with MMA for years and it’s less likely than ever at 47 years old.
Back in November, he signed a deal with to write a second a new autobiography.
