WWE announced on Monday’s RAW that the Elimination Chamber event will be returning later tater this month as a WWE Network exclusive PPV.
The show takes place on Sunday, May 31st from Corpus Christi, Texas, the same night that WWE has another live event scheduled for Greenville, South Carolina. John Cena, Rusev and King Barrett have been advertised for the Greenville show, but that card is subject to change.
WWE.com’s official preview for Elimination Chamber mentions the following matches:
The anticipated, must-see WWE Elimination Chamber event will emanate from Corpus Christi, Texas, where the WWE Tag Team Championships and the newly vacant Intercontinental Championship will be defended inside the infamous structure.

The decision to bring back Elimination Chamber as a WWE Network exclusive event was made over the weekend. If you recall, the show was originally scrapped from WWE’s PPV lineup because the steel structure is difficult to hang from many renovated arenas across the United States. The American Bank Center in Corpus Christi has not been renovated and does not feature a large ‘scoreboard’ video screen above the ring, so there won’t be a problem suspending the cage over the ring.
