MLW is now featured on the same streaming service as Bellator and several major boxing events. The promotion recently announced it has signed a deal with DAZN for its events to be broadcast on the service.
Weekly episodes of MLW Fusion, the fight league’s flagship show, will continue to air on BeIN Sports. The shows will also continue to air on YouTube for the time being.
MLW will become part of the streaming service’s weekly schedule of content and will be available on-demand as well.
The DAZN subscription service is available for $99.99 a year or $19.99 per month. Several episodes of Fusion are already available for on-demand viewing.
The announcement was teased recently on Twitter by MLW CEO, Court Bauer:
What’s Going On In MLW?
In storyline, MLW is on hiatus from hosting new shows due to a takeover from Contra Unit. In lieu of new content, the promotion is airing episodes of “Anthology” featuring matches and storylines from previous events. Wrestlers such as Low-Ki and Satoshi Kojima have already been featured on the Anthology series.
Court Bauer has said that MLW will not return to hosting events until it is safe for the company to do so.
“I have to do the right thing for the people in my company. It’s kind of the easiest decision I’ve ever made managing this company. There’s no discussion. This is what you do. And I sleep great at night.”
The company also recently announced the signing of Saieve Al Sabah, who will be part of the InJustice faction.
