Top WWE Stars Set Interesting Record
An interesting stat has surfaced online. According to Sportskeeda, this year marked the first time that both the winners of the Men’s Royal Rumble and Men’s Money in the Bank ladder match did not go on to win the world title in WWE.
If you recall, Shinsuke Nakamura won the Royal Rumble and later lost to AJ Styles at WrestleMania 34 in a match for the WWE Title. On the flip side, Braun Strowman cashed in his Money in the Bank contract for a Universal Title match at the Hell in a Cell event where his match against Roman Reigns ended in a no-contest when Brock Lesnar interfered.
