Goldberg stated that he had no idea that he was going to wrestle Hulk Hogan until he saw it on TV on a Thursday night. Goldberg added that he owes Hogan one and continued with his speech.

He noted that WCW came crashing down and brought up Kevin Nash ending his streak on his birthday and said he owes him one too. Goldberg told Stephanie that he had to get into character and he would pay for the doors. Stephanie once again said no. When the time came for his entrance, he punched the door instead and broke his hand and admitted that nobody knew up that until tonight. Goldberg then was in the ring with Austin later that night and said that he drank 13 beers because his hand hurt so damn much.

Goldberg said that he admired Sting because he had integrity. Goldberg added that Sting and DDP made him and he will forever be grateful for that.

He said that he originally looked at wrestling as just a business, but has truly acquired a love for the fans and the dreams that wrestling has made come true for people. He added that this was a much better payoff than the NFL Hall of Fame ever would have. Goldberg said that he realizes more so than ever before that there is where he belongs. He then boasted about being 2-1 over Brock Lesnar and having the strength to Jackhammer anyone in the room and has the knowledge & wisdom to know that a Georgia Tech Yellow Jacket could never be as badass as a Georgia Bulldog. Goldberg said that he had one final question and shouted “who’s next?” to end the speech.
