Randy Orton has been causing a stir on Twitter recently, stemming from a shot he took at Independent wrestlers and wrestling fans. While Orton is currently the focal point of the controversy, it was actually started by Rip Rogers, current head trainer at Ohio Valley Wrestling.
Things got rolling when Orton responded to the following tweet sent out by Rip Rogers:

Rogers’ sentiment seems to have struck a chord with Orton. Speculation is that Orton is not the only wrestler to come up through the WWE system who is not in favour of an independent wrestling scene which they feel is too focussed on high spots. Miz has expressed similar sentiment, albeit while performing on “Talking Smack”.
