WWE has released several NXT talents today including some noteworthy names such as former Sanity member Alexander Wolfe and one of the MMA horsewomen Jessamyn Duke.
The news of talent releases started coming in early in the morning. The list only grew as the day passed by, reaching to more than half a dozen releases.
Below is the current standing list of stars that have confirmed to have been released by the officials during today’s cuts according to reports from PWInsider and Fightful select:
- Jessamyn Duke
- Alexander Wolfe
- Vanessa Borne
- Skyler Story
- Ezra Judge
- Kavita Devi
Wrestling talents are not the only ones to have been let go and NXT referee Drake Younger and referee Jake Clemons have also been cut by the company. The talents that have been released today have apparently been told that they are being let go due to budgetary reasons.
The release of Jessamyn Duke is especially interesting because it ends the possibility of having an MMA horsewoman vs. WWE horsemen feud which has been rumored for a long while.
Now it would be interesting to see what these talents are planning for their future after the end of their WWE stints and if any of them end up at rival promotions such as AEW or Impact Wrestling.
