WWE announced last week that former WWE RAW Women’s Champion Sasha Banks had been pulled from the Mixed Match Challenge series after it was revealed that she is dealing with an undisclosed injury. At the time, it was not known if this was a legitimate injury or just part of a storyline considering that Alexa Bliss was also pulled from the show due to an injury that is real. The latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter revealed that Bliss is suffering through numbness in her arm, which is a sign of potential nerve damage.
It appears that Banks has a legitimate injury as she missed this weekend’s RAW live events. There’s no word yet on if this was just a precaution or the extent of her injury. She doesn’t have a match booked for the WWE Super Show-Down pay-per-view event that takes place on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) in Melbourne, Australia but was expected to wrestle at Evolution prior to the news of her injury being made.
