Former WWE tag team champion Shelton Benjamin is in talks with WWE about returning to the company. The news was first reported by Pro Wrestling Sheet.
Benjamin was originally expected to return to the Smackdown brand following the WWE Draft last year before a shoulder injury forced him to have surgery. Back in March, he announced that he was finally cleared to wrestle again, but he’s still a free agent 3 months later.
Benjamin has not yet officially signed but talks are ongoing and ‘in the right direction,’ as this story moves forward we will keep you updated.
