At the 2016 WWE Hall Of Fame induction ceremony in Dallas, Texas on Saturday evening, “The Icon” Sting officially announced his retirement.
While Sting’s retirement was reported early, as he denied initial reports that claimed he was officially retired from the business — including those from celebrity-gossip website TMZ.com — on Saturday, “The Stinger” made things official.
After announcing that he is officially retired, Sting then put on a dark pair of glasses and grabbed his trademark black baseball bat before concluding, “This isn’t goodbye. It’s just see ya later.”
