TNA has issued a statement in response to the report in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter regarding Destination America canceling Impact Wrestling.
According to Dave Meltzer’s report, Destination America will be dropping Impact in September after finding out the hard way that advertisers are not interested in buying time during TNA’s programming.

Statement from TNA Regarding IMPACT WRESTLING
It has come to our attention that several internet news sources have falsely attributed statements to TNA, its executives and broadcasting partner. These false statements constitute defamation and if necessary we will seek all legal remedies available to us.
It’s unclear what ‘false statements’ were attributed to TNA and it’s executives, but the fact that TNA did not directly deny the cancelation report is not a great sign.
