New Japan Pro Wrestling has revealed the entire card for their upcoming Wrestle Kingdom 13 showcase.
Wrestle Kingdom 13 takes place at the legendary Tokyo Dome, Tokyo, Japan on January 4th 2019. Interestingly, the traditional New Japan Rumble and tag-team gauntlet that opens the show seem to have been replaced this year.
Instead, there will be a gauntlet match where the winning team become the number one contenders for the NEVER six-man championships. The belts are currently held by the Guerrillas of Destiny (Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa) and Taiji Ishimori.
The January show has developed into a stacked event, filled with major title challenges that could help shape New Japan Pro Wrestling as a company going forward.
