After closing the gap in ratings with AEW Dynamite last week, WWE presents a new episode of NXT that will continue the build towards TakeOver: WarGames III as well as the Survivor Series pay-per-view event.
Thus, it’s time to look ahead starting with tonight’s episode of NXT. WWE is stacking this show as usual.
The company is building up this show around Lio Rush defending the NXT Cruiserweight Title against Angel Garza, who became the #1 contender by winning a match last week.
In the likely main event, Mia Yim and Io Shirai will battle it out in a Ladder Match in order to find out which team will have an advantage in the women’s WarGames match at TakeOver: WarGames III.
WWE holds this show in Winter Park, Florida at Full Sail University. WWE is advertising the following items for tonight’s broadcast:
- Lio Rush defends the NXT Cruiserweight Championship against Angel Garza
- Mia Yim and Io Shirai to clash in a Ladder Match for the WarGames advantage
