Fandango recently made his return in-ring action, which marked his first match in over a year.
WWE held an NXT live event on Thursday in St. Petersburg, FL at the St. Petersburg Armory. At this show, Tyler Breeze and Fandango defeated Riddick Moss and Dorian Mak in a tag team match.
Fandango had been out of action since suffering a labrum tear in his left shoulder 13 months ago.
This in-ring return comes after Fandango made his television return this past Wednesday night on NXT TV to help Breeze stave off a three-on-one attack by The Forgotten Sons.
WWE released this video of comments from Breeze and Fandango:
Although over the past few years Fandango’s time with WWE has been more comedy alongside his tag partner, Breeze, with their Fashion Files being such a hit with fans, Fandango has made it known in previous interviews that he hopes to have a more serious role and matches when he makes his return. It appears WWE is doing just that.
