Details On Roman Reigns Losing All PPV Matches Since WrestleMania

Many believed that John Cena is the most dividing star in the history of professional wrestling until WWE decided to make Roman Reigns their next top babyface of the company.

Since breaking up the Shield back in June 2014 WWE has done everything they can to try and get Roman Reigns over or at least get cheered by the crowd.

One infamous incident showcasing WWE’s commitment of getting Reigns cheered at any cost is when WWE involved the Rock in the Royal Rumble match back in 2015.

However, in recent months it appeared that WWE has taken a step back from pushing Roman as the Superman, as he has lost all PPV matches he has competed in since WrestleMania 33 where he defeated the Undertaker.

Recently a fan pointed this fact out to Dave Meltzer on Twitter and asked if this will change anytime soon. Replying to the question, The Wrestling Journalist revealed that Officials think that it will make fans like Reigns more indicating that his PPV losing streak may continue in near future:

This is another example of WWE’s unique mentality which they show every now and then while trying to put the stars of their choice over with the crowd and neglect wrestlers who get over naturally.

Possible Plans For Intercontinental Championship Heading Into No Mercy

Prior to SummerSlam, it appeared that The Miz was going to be involved in a feud with Jason Jordan for a while and the son of Kurt Angle will get a shot at the Intercontinental Championship sooner or later.

However, the only match these two had was a 6 men tag team match at SummerSlam in which Jordan teamed with the Hardy Boys and was defeated by the Miz and the Miztourage.

After this, the two stars didn’t interact on this week’s episode of Raw. Now it appears that this feud is over and WWE is planning something else for both the IC title and the Miz.

During the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer talked about the main event of this week’s episode of Raw and speculated that Samoa Joe could be next in line for a shot at the title.

Meltzer noted that their tag team match on Raw was possibly the start of a new rivalry and it could culminate in form of an Intercontinental Championship match at the upcoming No Mercy PPV.

It was also noted that if The Miz does gets involved in a programme with Samoa Joe the later may turn face for the feud and it shouldn’t be a surprise if he ends up snatching the belt from the former WWE Champion.

Lana Kills Rumours Of Her And Rusev Asking For WWE Release

Earlier yesterday it was rumoured that current SmackDown Live Star Lana along with her husband and former United States Champion Rusev have asked for their WWE release.

The reason behind it was said to be the couple being unhappy with the direction of Rusev’s character on the WWE Programming since he has returned from his injury.

According to several reports, Rusev was originally supposed to get involved in the WWE title picture against Randy Orton upon his return, but the decision to put the title on Jinder Mahal forced Officials to nix those plans.

After this Rusev’s return was held off by the company for weeks as they didn’t have anything planned for him and even after his return, the Bulgarian Brute hasn’t done much on SmackDown Live.

First, he was defeated by John Cena in a flag match at Battleground and just recently Randy Orton defeated him in a very short match at SummerSlam.

All this was said to be the reason why the duo was upset and wanted to leave the company though now Lana herself has confirmed that these reports are false.

A fan asked the WWE Star on twitter if she has asked for her release from the company and the female star confirmed that these reports are not true:

Though it’s worth mentioning here that Rusev did not appear on SmackDown Live this week and it’s not known if the creatives have anything planned for him after his match with Randy Orton.

Backstage News On Why John Cena Was Moved To Raw

When WWE first announced that John Cena will return to WWE programming as a ‘Free Agent’ a lot of people wondered why WWE gave this status to the Former World Champion instead of assigning him to one brand.

Earlier reports suggested that WWE made this move so he can appear on both Raw and SmackDown when needed and help both the brands in their TV ratings.

However, after he returned to Raw after almost year this past Monday night, a new report has emerged which claims that TV ratings were not the only reason why The Leader Of Cenation was moved to Raw.

If reports from Sports Illustrated are to be believed, WWE moved John to the Red Branded Show because of the potential money matches he can have there with stars like Samoa Joe, Braun Strowman and most importantly – Roman Reigns.

According to the site, Vince McMahon wants the former 16 Time World Champion to elevate and give a rub to the Big Dog and it’s the primary reason why he was moved from SmackDown Live.

This is an interesting statement and it reaffirms a previous report of a Cena-Reigns dream match happening sometime before WrestleMania 34 next year.

If Vince wants John to elevate the career of Roman Reigns then it’s possible that they will use the Leader Of Cenation as an obstacle in Reigns’ path to the Universal Championship.

Since Roman is expected to challenge Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 34, the match between him and Cena will most likely take place sometime before the show of shows.

Eric Bischoff Praises Bobby Roode’s WWE Main Roster Debut, Makes AJ Styles Comparison

Former WCW President and Monday Night RAW General Manager Eric Bischoff recently took to his podcast, Bischoff On Wrestling, to comment on the now-former NXT Champion Bobby Roode’s recent main roster debut on SmackDown Live. Bischoff claimed that he sees Roode being successful anywhere on the WWE’s card, even as a main eventer, and made an interesting comparison between Roode and AJ Styles. Here are the highlights:

Could Bobby Roode be successful as a main eventer:

“I think Bobby Roode has all of the talent in the world to be successful anywhere on the card, including the main event. I can’t say enough good things about Bobby Roode. As a human being, as a performer… I am just surprised it has taken this long quite frankly. I expected Bobby to kind of explode out of the scene much the same way AJ Styles did. I can’t say enough good things about him.”

If he wishes Roode and AJ Styles got a shot like this in WWE sooner:

“No. They are where they are because of what they learned, because of the experience and because of the journey. Both AJ and Bobby, neither one of them are injury prone. I still think they’ve got a lot of runway left in them. I really, really do. They are great athletes, unbelievably talented, smart, they know how to conduct themselves both in and out of the ring. All of that will lead to a lot of longevity in my opinion. I think we are going to be seeing AJ Styles and Bobby Roode for a long time to come.”

WWE UK Champion Pete Dunne and Wolfgang were interviewed backstage. Wolfgang said that he wants a shot at Dunne’s title after they win their tag match tonight. Dunne told Wolfgang to not get too far ahead of himself and to focus on their match tonight.

Sarah Logan vs Peyton Royce

Logan applied a Headlock but Royce battled out of it and applied a Headlock of her own. Royce then leveled Logan with a shoulder tackle. Logan wrestled Royce down to the mat and applied an Arm Bar. Royce got out of it and connected with a spin kick that knocked Logan to the mat. Royce bounced Logan’s head off the top turnbuckle and then beat her down in the corner.

Logan connected with a German Suplex as Billie Kay looked concerned ringside. The crowd got behind Sarah Logan as she connected with a right hand and a chop. Logan hit Royce with a couple of shoulder tackles and a Dropkick for a two count. Royce connected with a knee to Logan’s face and followed it up with a Fisherman’s Suplex for the pinfall victory.

Winner: Peyton Royce

Bobby Roode was interviewed earlier in the day. Roode said that he still has unfinished business in NXT. He wants to have his rematch for the NXT Championship and also embarrass Roderick Strong.

NXT cameras attempted to catch up with Aleister Black after his victory over Hideo Itami at TakeOver: Brooklyn III on Saturday but Black walked right past them and didn’t answer any questions.

Tyler Bate & Trent Seven vs Pete Dunne & Wolfgang

Dunne and Bate started off the match. Dunne dragged Dunne to the mat and applied a Headlock. Bate got out of it and both Superstars leaped to their feet at the same time and had a stare down as NXT went to a commercial break. When NXT returned, Bate connected with a Dropkick and tagged in Trent Seven.

Seven slammed Dunne to the mat and immediately tagged in Bate. Tyler leaped onto Dunne after bouncing off of Seven’s shoulders.

Seven was tagged back in and Dunne greeted him with a forearm to the jaw. Wolgang entered the match and immediately got planted with a DDT from Trent Seven. Seven argued with Dunne on the ring apron and then charged at Wolfgang. Wolgang was ready for him and powered him down to the mat for a two count.

Pete Dunne got back into the match and stomped on Seven’s hand in the ring. Dunne booted Seven down to the mat and locked in an Arm Bar and then bent Seven’s fingers back to inflict more pain. Wolfgang was tagged back in and he continued the beatdown of Seven. Wolfgang slammed Seven to the mat face-first. Seven got back to his feet and planted Wolfgang with a Dragon Suplex.

Bate and Dunne were tagged back in. Dunne leaped at Bate but Tyler caught him and launched him across the ring. Bate went for a German Suplex but Dunne landed on his feet. Bate then delivered a massive Clothesline. Bate lifted Dunne up on his shoulders and spun around several times in the ring before finally dropping him to the mat. Bate went for the pinfall but Wolfgang broke it up.

Seven and Wolfgang were then knocked out of the ring. Bate showed Dunne his right hand and then punched hi in the face with his left. Bate planted Dunne with a Powerbomb but Bate was unaware that Wolfgang had tagged himself in. Wolfgang immediately connected with the Howling (Senton Bomb) on Bate for the pinfall victory.

Winners: Pete Dunne & Wolfgang

Triple H Talks About Putting Together Mae Young Classic, Who Stood Out To Him, More

Triple H recently spoke with NBC Sports about the process of putting together the Mae Young Classic, some of the talents that stood out to him and more. The first four episodes of the tournament are set to be released on-demand on the WWE Network on Monday, August 28th. Here are the highlights:

Putting together the Mae Young Classic:

“I think the Cruiserweight Classic was easier from a sense of being able to find video and opinions on talent. There are cruiserweights working all over. The opportunities for guys at that level in our business is numerous While not lucrative necessarily, there’s guys doing it all over the place and all you need is a phone right now to post your stuff up, so you can find footage of people everywhere. It made it easy. The women is a lot different. The women don’t get booked on the independents nearly as much. That opportunity is very small and that was kind of the key about creating the Mae Young Classic. The thought about it in the very beginning was to create that opportunity. There’s a respect level that I have for these women and it speaks to the difference you’re talking about.

The cruiserweights were the guys that while they might have said ‘Oh I’m smaller, I don’t know if I would make it in WWE,’ you had some examples of smaller guys having success like Rey Mysterio, but there were still other opportunities. You could travel around and get booked all of the time. There was a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow no matter how you were doing it. The ability to stay active was there. For the women, they got into the business for the same reason all of us did. They love it. They watched it one day and thought it was the greatest thing they ever saw and thought I have to do this. Except there was no pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. There was the opportunity for maybe a woman here or there and those were even limited. Even the bookings, if you go to any show in any little armory around the world there’s probably one women’s match on there, if you’re lucky. If one woman is on the show she’s usually someone’s valet. The opportunities are few and far between and when you’re trying to find these talents and see footage of them to make sure you think they’re going to be what you think they’re going to be and then be able to determine if they’re good enough to be in the product. It takes a lot of time and a lot of effort to be able to go do that. But, when we started to do it, I think that’s when we became pleasantly surprised.

When we first started this process, and I was the one who drove it for years until it finally got the green light, we thought this would be a 16 woman tournament because I thought it would be tough to keep the quality high enough to give the opportunity to women from all around the globe this opportunity. But when we started to dig, we started to find all of these diamonds in the rough. It quickly became where we could do a 32-woman tournament and quite honestly I could have done it a little bit bigger than that. I’m excited about that. It made the quality [of the tournament]really good and it speaks well to the future because the opportunity is there now and it will just continue to grow.”

Which wrestlers stood out to him:

“Jazzy Gabert from Germany was a real standout performer. I’d seen tape of her and was obviously aware of her, but when I saw her go in person, it’s one of those things where sometimes when people see talent in other places they’d say ‘Oh yeah we knew she was great too,’ but when you bring them up for a big opportunity it’s like the prizefighter that’s really good, but when he gets in the pressure of a world title match, he’s just not what he should be. That level of pressure is different. Some of these girls did better, some didn’t do as well, but certain ones thrived and Jazzy Gabert was one that really thrived. Bianca Belair, who hasn’t been doing this for very long, has a level of poise that just blew me away. Shayna Baszler is somebody that I’ve seen begin to make the transition from MMA into what we do and sometimes that can be a rough transition.

Xia Li is someone that a year ago didn’t even know what WWE was, but when I saw her perform I was blown away. When she came back [through the curtain]she was balling because I think she amazed herself.

So there were a lot of those stories. People who came in that you knew had the ability, but when you saw them in person, they just came into their own. Some have been doing it for a long time. Mercedes Martinez is another one who I knew was good, but when I watched her go I was thoroughly impressed.”

Cody Rhodes Discusses WWE Still Owning The ‘Rhodes’ Name

Former WWE Superstar and current Ring Of Honor (ROH) World Heavyweight Champion Cody Rhodes was recently a guest on WWE Hall Of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler’s podcast, Dinner With The King, to promote their match against one another this weekend (Fri. August 25, 2017) for the Northeast Wrestling promotion, as the NEW Heavyweight Championship and ROH World Title will be on the line.

Rhodes discussed his current situation with ROH, his career after leaving WWE, and WWE owning the ‘Rhodes’ name. You can check out the highlights below:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GArkRkvwwp0

His current situation with ROH:

“Ring of Honor hates the fact that I genuinely remained a free agent; I did not sign a contract with them.

“I signed on for various dates, and I have many dates left with them. I really like Ring of Honor. But I’m not going to be exclusive anywhere. I did exclusive.”

Life after WWE:

“This is the happiest I’ve been in my career. It’s been so rewarding to get out there and do my own schedule. I’m very much a happy man. It’s a cool time.”

WWE owning the ‘Rhodes’ name:

“It’s a very simple matter of if I want to ask for my last name, if I want to ask for Cody Rhodes back to perform under it — I perform under it at non-televised events, it’s not secret to the fans that’s my last name — but when it comes to television, that’s WWE’s intellectual property. And I am wholeheartedly sure that if I were to ask them to go by Rhodes, they would have no problem.

“But I don’t mind going by just Cody. I think there’s something cool about it.”

You can check out the highlights here:

Rumors that he was supposed to face The Undertaker at WrestleMania:

“I try not to read into that stuff too much,” Strowman said. “It’s a lot of hype and a lot of smoke being blown around.”

Strowman saying he has only shown a glimpse of what he is capable of thus far:

“WWE finally took the chains off me and let me show the world what I’m capable of doing and I’ve only shown you a glimpse of what ‘The Monster’ can do,” Strowman said. “I am like no other athlete this company has ever seen. I am, without a doubt, the best guy at what I do. There’s not another man on this Earth – my size – that can do what I can do.”

Colt Cabana to Challenge for the ICW Title

Insane Championship Wrestling World Champion Joe Coffey will be defending his crown against Colt Cabana this Sunday at the Garage in Glasgow, Scotland.

The match takes place as part of the ICW Fight Club series and will be one of the most high profile matches that Cabana has appeared in for quite some time. Colt has been relatively quiet ever since his alleged ‘falling out’ with longtime friend CM Punk. After Punk’s WWE departure Cabana appeared at a WWE live event and this caused a supposed rift in their well documented friendship.

This match could be a stepping stone for the ROH star to establish himself as a player on the hot British independent circuit.

Low Ki Reportedly Gone From GFW

Low Ki is reportedly done with Global Force Wrestling according to a report by Mike Johnson at PWInsider.

There are conflicting stories about whether he left because of a financial dispute or creative  differences, but it it was Low Ki’s decision to request his release and GFW granted it.

Low Ki had been advertised to wrestle then-GFW Champion Alberto El Patron at last week’s live Destination X edition of Impact, but that match was scrapped due to Alberto’s suspension. It would have been his first world title match in 15 years.

The 4-time X Division Champion will appear in the Gauntlet Match that headlines tomorrow’s Impact, which was taped last week.

The departure marks the end of Low Ki’s latest run with GFW after returning about 4 months ago. With his history in Ring of Honor (as the company’s first World Champion) and WWE (as Kaval), it will be interesting to see where he resurfaces next.

Sid: Reigns ‘Light Years’ Better Than ‘Fat Guy in the T-Shirt” Kevin Owens

Former WWE & WCW World Champion Sid Vicious was recently interviewed by Hannibal TV and gave his thoughts on the state of WWE’s roster.

As a perennial main event performer, Sid has been in many locker rooms. With all of his years in the business, he thinks he knows who is capable of drawing money – and he’s not impressed with Kevin Owens or that “Yakamora guy.”

“This is the thing. It reminds me of the time I left, when business was hot. I came back as Sycho Sid, and I was looking at people like Rex King and Steve Doll, and I’m going, ‘Hold on. I know these guys and they’re not money people. What’s going on?’ When I got there, I saw business was that bad. I hate sayin’ it, but I see people like Kevin Owens and this Yakamora guy, and these other people like this. When I see that, I’m going, ‘Business has gotta be bad, or they’re at a point where they don’t care.’ That’s all I know.”

Sid also commented on Roman Reigns, saying he’s light years ahead of Kevin Owens.

“I think [Reigns] is one of the better talents they’ve got. He looks credible, he looks good, [he’s] a good interview. And if we’re gonna compare him to anybody, let’s just compare him to the last guy you said, the fat guy in the T-shirt, Kevin Owens. There’s no comparison. I think he’s light years ahead of that guy.”

Sid also commented on Jinder Mahal, who he actually wrestled around a decade ago in Canada’s Great North Wrestling promotion. He doesn’t remember their match, but said Mahal is doing a great job.

Check out Sid’s remarks below:

Lana Defends Her New Role, Rollins-Power Rangers, Bruno Meets Bruno

– Lana revealed on last night’s SmackDown that her plans for Tamina Snuka’s “ravishing journey” to the SmackDown Women’s Title will begin next week. A fan tweeted that all of Lana’s “genuine hard work and training is totally wasted” now. Lana responded:

– The man who portrayed the clown in the Gentleman’s Duel between Jack Gallagher and Brian Kendrick on last night’s WWE 205 Live episode was indie wrestler Rory Gulak, younger brother of WWE cruiserweight Drew Gulak. The duel ended with Kendrick putting Gallagher through a table to set up a No DQ match between the two next week.

– Pop star Bruno Mars is currently performing is 24K Magic World Tour and made a stop in Pittsburgh, PA on Tuesday night. Mars has stated in various interviews that his nickname Bruno is actually inspired by WWE Hall of Famer Bruno Sammartino. Backstage in Pittsburgh, Bruno finally met Bruno.

– Finally, Seth Rollins got an endorsement from for his ‘big match’ ring gear: the Power Rangers. We hadn’t noticed the connection but the side-by-side comparisons below suggest Rollins’ outfits be influenced by the masked superheroes.

Sami Zami Defends His “Annoying” WWE TV Character

Sami Zayn was a recent guest on The Sam Roberts Wrestling Podcast and spoke about WWE moving beyond stereotypical gimmicks, his successful Sami for Syria campaign, his love of ska music a more.

During the interview, Sam Roberts suggested that Zayn’s WWE character might come off to some fans as “annoying.” Zayn defended himself, saying that his supporters actually find him charming and endearing.

“I hate the word ‘annoying!’ I don’t know, ‘enthusiastic’ perhaps. Well, not to get into the whole thing, but it’s all about the interaction with these other characters, so if you’re going to roll your eyes at me, I’m annoying, but if you find it, like, charming, which it could be, and because it’s aspects of my real life personality, and there have been times, I’m sure, that I’ve annoyed people. And there have been some times, I’m sure, that I’ve charmed some people.”

He continued, “If you’re going to sell it, so to speak, as endearing, it’s endearing. But if you’re going to have guys rolling their eyes, then, ‘ugh, this guy.’ Then, it’s whatever you make it to be.”

Whether you love or hate the character, Zayn admitted that his character is in a “strange position” and state of flux. One week he’s the lovable underdog going up against Braun Strowman, the next week he’s channeling Seinfeld’s ‘George Costanza.’

“The character is in flux, I would say definitely because there [are] aspects of the character, and I don’t want to drone on and on about this too much, but there [are] aspects of the character that’s about always standing your ground, and fighting the good fight, and always trying to do things the right way, like an upstanding guy.”

“And again, aspects of that were more in display, let’s say, when I was doing a program with Braun Strowman, this insurmountable oppressor, so I was, like, standing up to an oppressor and standing up to tyranny. Right. And then, like a week later, I’m George Costanza, so the character is in this strange sort of position at the moment. Yeah, and exactly, I think there is a balance and I think the balance, the middle ground, is me, the real me, because I am both of those.”

WWE Cracked Down On Beach Balls At Tuesday’s SmackDown

According to reports sent in from fans who were in attendance at Tuesday’s SmackDown Live taping, WWE cracked down on beach balls and other inflatable items that could be bounced around during the show.

The move comes after beach balls in the crowd caused disturbances at SummerSlam and RAW the following night.

WWE spoke with the Barclays Center security staff and informed them of the new policy. Despite WWE’s best efforts, there were still a few beach balls going around during SmackDown, but they were quickly confiscated.

https://twitter.com/Jromer0/status/900167294973878272

Fans and even WWE personnel have been split on beach balls at live events, with some dismissing the issue and others arguing they are disrespectful to the performers in the ring.

Video From After SmackDown: Randy Orton vs. Jinder Mahal

After Tuesday’s Smackdown and 205 Live tapings from Brooklyn went off the air, Randy Orton came out and challenged WWE Champion Jinder Mahal.

Mahal answered the challenge came out with the Singh Brothers. Orton and Mahal had a good back and forth match that lasted about ten minutes including a brawl around ringside.

The finish came when Orton hit an RKO out of nowhere and went for the pin. The Singh Brothers interfered, leading to a disqualification. You can probably guess what came next.

Orton delivered RKO’s to all three men to end the show.

Dolph Ziggler Comments On His WWE Hiatus, ‘Repackaging’ Rumors

Dolph Ziggler made his return to WWE television on this week’s SmackDown Live after a brief hiatus. During a recent interview with ChannelGuideMag.com, he spoke about recently taking time off and said WWE has been very accommodating when he needs to take time off to focus on outside projects like comedy and political shows

“It’s nice to take a little break and come back fresh,” said Ziggler. “Not matter when or no matter what I’m doing, I think it will be nice. I’ve only missed a handful of weeks of work. After a while you just want to step out.”

He continued, “People talking is fine. People are talking about you, so that’s a great thing. Some people’s jobs are to speculate. So, I can understand that. I’m still excited to be in the ring. I still do the live events and have a blast. I’ve been working with the likes of Nakamura, which has been really fun.”

DZ also commented on reports that WWE is considering changing up his character. “There is all this talk out there about me being repackaged. I don’t think I’m doing that.”

Here’s a clip of Ziggler’s return to SmackDown from Tuesday night, where he worked as a backstage interviewer. Ziggler spoke to colleague Dasha Fuentes and did not seem thrilled about his new gig. Ziggler took shots at various WWE gimmicks and said he’s been watching a lot of RAW & SmackDown while he’s been away.

The former World Heavyweight Champion said he’s learned what it takes to become a star in WWE while away and he will show us what he’s learned on next week’s SmackDown from Arkansas.

WWE Planning Big Dream Match For John Cena Before WrestleMania 34?

This week’s episode of Raw featured some very exciting moments such as the confrontation between Braun Strowman and Brock Lesnar and the match between The Hardys and the new Tag Champs Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins.

However, one segment which stood up among others due to its controversial nature was between the returning John Cena and Big Dog Roman Reigns.

These two have recently been involved in a twitter battle and have exchanged some interesting tweets where Cena looked to gives advice to the Big Dog while the Raw star challenged The Leader Of Cenation to come to Raw and face him.

On the latest episode of Raw, the two former World Champions had a small confrontation when Roman interrupted the promo of John, though it didn’t last long as the Miz and then Samoa Joe got involved in the segment.

Later their Tag Team match ended in a controversial fashion as well because Reigns accidentally delivered a Superman punch to Cena, which left fans questioning what it could mean for the future of these two athletes.

During the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer talked about the events of Raw and noted how WWE has started planting seeds for a potential match between the two.

The Wrestling Journalist also remarked that at this point, it appears that the bout between these two will happen before the WrestleMania next year, where Reigns is expected to face Brock Lesnar.

While this match is not a done deal yet, given the way WWE teased a possible feud between the two mega babyfaces, one cannot help but think that the company has something planned for them sooner rather than later.

Though it’s worth noting here that WWE is also advertising Samoa Joe vs John Cena for some upcoming events and it won’t be a surprise if WWE holds off the feud of John Cena and Roman Reigns for Survivor Series or Royal Rumble and starts the rivalry between the former 16 Time World Champion and the former NXT Champion instead.

Beach Ball Mania Continues on SmackDown, Road Dog comments

It was apparently a mistake on WWE’s part to acknowledge the fact that Cesaro torn a Beach Ball during the Raw Tag Team Championship match at SummerSlam.

As we noted before it provoked fans and they took it as a challenge. It resulted in them bringing more beach balls to Raw next night and fans were reportedly playing with it all night long.

According to reports, there were a total of 22 beach balls released in the crowd during the latest Raw episode and one of them even made an appearance on television when John Cena waved at it during his match.

One would think that after the trouble guards faced in capturing these balls during Raw WWE would not allow them in their future events, though apparently, it wasn’t the case on SmackDown Live.

The beach ball mania continued on the Blue Branded Show as well and there were around 10 balls which were released in the crowd during the SmackDown episode last night. Though unlike Raw, there is no news of any fan being ejected from the arena for this.

Below is a video of the audience in the upper stands throwing beach balls down the crowd during the match of Usos and Hype Bros on this week’s episode of SmackDown:

Meanwhile, SmackDown’s Lead Producer and former WWE Star Road Dog commented on the whole incident and said that it was disrespect to all talents mentioning the beach balls seen on Raw:
