Andrew Everett Granted Release From Impact Wrestling

Former co-holder of the Impact Wrestling tag-team championships, Andrew Everett, has been granted his release by Impact Wrestling. The 26-year-old had been with the company since the fall of 2015.

He posted the following to Twitter yesterday:

Andrew Everett Granted Release From Impact Wrestling

“Earlier today I was granted my release from IMPACT wrestling,” Everett Tweeted. “I had great times with the company, and I’m grateful for the opportunities that I received while under contract. At this moment, I feel that I need to test the waters in free agency, allowing myself to find a new direction in my craft.”

“It’s exciting to see what awaits me in my career. Thank you for all your support, and again, thank you IMPACT Wrestling for bringing the Skywalker to a larger audience.”

Andrew Everett Impact Wrestling 2015-2018

While Everett would compete mainly in the X-Division, he was never able to win the X-Division championship during his recent run with the company. He did, however, win the Impact tag-team championships along with DJZ earlier this year. Z&E defeated Eli Drake and Scott Steiner to win the belts back in April. They would defend the titles successfully once the following night against Aerostar and Drago before dropping them to LAX just 2 nights after winning them.

Matt Hardy Reveals Hardy Compound Badly Flooded By Hurricane Florence

Matt Hardy’s Hardy Compound was in the midst of the terrible hurricane that rocked the Carolinas this week. The compound has been the film location for several successful “Woken” and “Broken” vignettes. Many fans were wondering how the compound fared after the devastating storm.

We now have an update. Hardy took to Twitter and revealed that the Hardy Compound was badly flooded during the storm. He noted that they’re hard at work attempting to salvage what they can. Most importantly, Hardy also noted he and his family are safe:

“To everyone who has checked on us, my family is safe following the hurricane,” he wrote. “The Hardy Compound is badly flooded & we’re nonstop working to dry out & salvage what we can. Thanks you for checking on us & asking about our safety & the condition of our property. We appreciate it.

Matt Hardy’s WWE Career

Hardy recently decided to retire from in-ring competition in WWE. He announced earlier this week that it was time for him to go home and be a husband and father. Following 26 years in the business, Hardy has decided to hang up his boots.

Over his career, Hardy and his brother, Jeff, established themselves as one of the greatest tag teams of all time. Their classic wars with The Dudley Boyz and Edge & Christian will live on in infamy. Recent rumors suggest Hardy has been suffering from a back injury, which led to his decision to retire.

He has been learning the ropes of working as a producer backstage in WWE, meaning he might stick around a little while longer in a different capacity:

“Thank you for letting me live my dream for 26 years, wrestling fans,” Hardy wrote. “I don’t necessarily wish it was this way, but it’s time to go home. Time to go home and be a father.

“Time to go home and be a husband. I did so much more than I ever imagined I would do. Thanks for making this incredible journey with me, ladies and gentlemen. I love you all.”

Eli Drake Talks Possibly Signing With WWE One Day

Eli Drake will remain with IMPACT Wrestling for the time being. Drake has been a professional wrestler since 2003. He worked the independent circuit before getting his shot in WWE in 2006. He worked with the professional wrestling juggernaut several times over the next eight years.

After being released from WWE in 2014, Drake again returned to the indies where he still competes today. In addition, Drake recently signed a contract extension with IMPACT Wrestling, who he joined back in 2015. During a recent interview with Wrestling Inc., Drake explained the decision behind opting to extend his deal with the promotion:

“It’s amazing. I had options, obviously, to do other things, but I like my lifestyle right now,” Drake said.

“I like the idea of not being stuck in a warehouse five days a week. That’s not a shot at anybody, that’s a fact of life, if you will. I just like my lifestyle living in L.A. I didn’t want to move to any other state, I didn’t want to go anywhere else.

“And I like the freedom that I have to do what I do, be what I am and make the money that I’m making. So everything is pretty good in my book and in my world, so it’s A-OK to stay with Impact.”

WWE did show interest in signing Drake earlier this year, however, IMPACT presented a more favorable offer. Drake likes the lighter schedule IMPACT offers him, as opposed to the grueling travel responsibilities in WWE. In regards to a possible WWE return sometime down the road, here’s what Drake had to say:

“I don’t know, and the reason I don’t know is I’ve had a strange crossroads with this business over the last couple of years,” Drake said.

“It’s changed a lot, it doesn’t feel like the same business I fell in love with 20-30 years ago. But that’s not to say that I can’t still do my own thing my own way, that’s exactly what I’ve always done and that’s what I’ll continue to do.

“But wrestling has changed in a lot of ways and not for the better, in my opinion – but again, if I could continue doing my thing then who knows? We’ll see what happens, and if I feel like I want to continue doing that at a much more exaggerated pace, as far as the schedule and what not.”

Do you think Eli Drake will ever be back in WWE?

Renee Young On Why She Was Quiet During Dean Ambrose’s RAW Return On Commentary

Renee Young has made strides in her WWE broadcasting career. Getting her start as a backstage interviewer for several years, Young has now made history. She is the first woman to be added to the Monday Night RAW commentary team full-time. Young has received a ton of support from the professional wrestling community for the feat.

Although she wasn’t full-time at the time, Young was even on the RAW commentary team when her husband, Dean Ambrose, made his WWE TV return. During the moment, however, Young didn’t say much. She explained why in a recent interview with Yahoo:

“That was by design. I think it made more sense because I knew for Dean, he had been waiting for almost nine months, and it was a huge, huge moment for him.

“Anything that I would have said in that moment would not have added. It was great just to sit back and see him in that moment. My heart was full for him.”

WWE Universe Loves Renee Young

Young is almost universally loved by WWE fans. She has done a nice job on commentary, and prior to that, was an excellent host for WWE pre-show panels. Not to mention her stellar work as a backstage interviewer. Young is in awe of the love she receives from the WWE Universe:

“I’m not sure what I’ve done to deserve that. We live in such a finicky world where everyone just wants to hate everything. Everyone always has a comment on something. To be held in a nice light is mind-boggling. I owe everybody a round of drinks.”

Young’s rise within WWE couldn’t have come at a more perfect time. With the Women’s Revolution being one of the company’s top priorities at the moment, Young is playing a major role:

“I feel so proud, really, getting to help lead that march. I know there’s a long road ahead of me and there’s a lot of work that I need to do to really do this justice. It’s a big job, and I’m so excited to do that work.”

9 Takeaways From WWE RAW (9/17)

The September 17th episode of WWE RAW aired live from the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. It was the first episode of RAW following WWE Hell in a Cell 2018. Here are 9 takeaways from this week’s show:

Reigns Will Defend The Universal Championship Against Lesnar & Strowman At WWE Crown Jewel

Universal Champion Roman Reigns came down to the ring to start off this week’s episode of WWE RAW. Last night at Hell in a Cell, Brock Lesnar interfered in the title match between Reigns and Strowman.

Roman said that last night didn’t go as planned, but the fact is that he is still Universal Champion. Reigns challenged Lesnar to come down to the ring right now for his rematch. Braun Strowman marched to the ring and claimed that Lesnar was the only reason Reigns was still Universal Champion. Strowman added that he is going after Lesnar and then when he is finished with him, he is coming after Reigns.

RAW GM Baron Corbin interrupted and said that he has been on the phone with Stephanie McMahon trying to find a solution to the problem. Corbin announced that Reigns will defend his title on November 2nd at WWE Crown Jewel against Lesnar and Strowman. Braun told Corbin that he thought that sucked and proceeded to say everyone in the arena sucks before exiting the ring.

Paul Heyman came down to the entrance ramp with the Hell in a Cell door that Lesnar kicked in last night at the PPV. Heyman boasted about how much money WWE made with Lesnar as Universal Champion and accused Reigns and Strowman of conspiring to steal the Universal Champion. Heyman added that Lesnar will go to Saudi Arabia and recapture the Universal Championship and once again be the “Crown Jewel” of WWE.

Strowman chased Heyman backstage as Corbin ripped the microphone from Roman Reigns. Corbin told Reigns that he will be defending the Universal Championship against him tonight on RAW.

Seth Rollins Retained The Intercontinental Championship

RAW GM Baron Corbin approached Dolph Ziggler backstage and informed him that Rollins was still hurting from WWE Hell in a Cell. Rollins showed up to the arena later on the show and stated that RAW was still Monday Night Rollins.

Ziggler started off the match in control and sent Rollins to the corner of the ring. Seth tried to fight back but his back gave out due to crashing through a table last night at Hell in a Cell. Dolph capitalized and slammed Seth into the barricade as RAW went to a break.

When RAW returned, Ziggler had Rollins in a Sleeper Hold in the middle of the ring. Rollins escaped and hit Dolph with the Ripcord Knee for a two count. Tommy Dreamer Claims ECW Was Funded By WWE From Day One

Former WWE star Tommy Dreamer claims ECW was being funded by WWE from day one. ECW kicked off back in 1992 as Eastern Championship Wrestling. It brought something completely different to the professional wrestling world upon its debut.

Fronted by Paul Heyman, the industry ultimately met its demise in April of 2001. WWE subsequently swooped in for the purchase.

ECW original, Tommy Dreamer, spoke to WSVN-TV Entertainment reporter Chris Van Vliet at MLW’s War Games recently. He offered his thoughts on ECW and its demise.

From what he has heard, Dreamer believes ECW was being funded by WWE from day one:

“I did not find out that Paul was in bed with them until we did any episode of Byte This together and he said it on the air and if you watch my face you can see it.

“The story changes all the time, Jim Ross who was the head of talent relations at the time says they were in bed together all the time and that Paul Heyman would get checks, but Paul said he didn’t get checks.

“It’s many, many conspiracy theories. Shane McMahon told me Paul was in bed with WWE the entire time. Bruce Prichard said he was in bed with them since day one.”

Dreamer At All In

The 46-year-old, who still competes on the indy circuit regularly today, was then asked about his appearance at All In earlier this month.

Dreamer helped accompany Cody to the ring for his NWA World Title match against Nick Aldis. Dreamer was asked how the opportunity came about:

“Honestly, when I saw NWA’s YouTube show ’10 Pounds of Gold’ and Cody talked about Dusty’s five guys I seriously got all teary eyed. Then when talking with Glacier and DDP they were like we didn’t know that either.

“So now we’re forever connected. A lot of people say in life you can count your friends on one hand or you’re lucky if you can count them on two and for the fact that Dusty Rhodes counted three wrestlers that were part of his five guys, it was an amazing, amazing thing that we all witnessed together.

“Cody is someone I hired into WWE and The Young Bucks I use them all the time on my shows and they were like my main eventers before people thought they were main eventers. They’re my guys.”

What do you make of Dreamer’s comments?

WWE RAW Results & Live Coverage (9/17)

The September 17th, 2018 edition of WWE RAW aired live from the American Airlines Center in Dallas, TX, and was the first show after Sunday’s Hell In A Cell pay-per-view.

– WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns comes out to the ring to kick off tonight’s show, as we see some replays from Reign’s Hell In A Cell match last night. Reigns gets on the mic and talks about not getting the finish the match how he wanted to last night, because of Brock Lesnar’s interference. Reigns calls out Lesnar to come down to the ring right now, but instead, Braun Strowman comes out. Braun says Reigns should be glad Lesnar saved him from losing last night. Strowman is going to take care of Lesnar first, and then he wants Reigns again. Baron Corbin comes out and says from the stage that this isn’t going to happen here and now, and he tells them to calm down. Corbin says last night was his first PPV as acting RAW GM, and he was even more upset about last night’s finish than Braun and Roman. Corbin says he’s been on the phone with Stephanie McMahon all day trying to figure out a solution, and he thinks he has one that will make everyone happy. Corbin books Reigns vs. Strowman vs. Lesnar in a triple threat match for the Title at WWE’s next show in Saudi Arabia, called Crown Jewel. Braun says he thinks that sucks, he thinks Corbin sucks, and he definitely thinks Roman sucks. Braun says this whole situation sucks, and so does everyone else in this entire area. Braun storms out of the ring, and then we hear Paul Heyman’s voice.

Heyman walks out with a piece of the red cage from last night’s Hell In A Cell main event. Heyman talks about Lesnar kicking in the door last night in the main event. He talks about Lesnar wanting more power in WWE, because that in turn gives him more negotiating power in UFC, which then also gives him more negotiating power back in WWE. Heyman seems to credit Lesnar’s popularity for WWE’s financial success and stock market success. Heyman says Lesnar came back last night because Braun and Roman ganged up on him and it was unfair. He says Lesnar will in fact compete in Saudi Arabia and take the Universal Title. Heyman says Lesnar holding the Universal Title on RAW will make him WWE’s crown jewel, and will give Lesnar the business power he desires. Braun starts marching up the ramp and he chases Heyman off to the back.

Meanwhile in the ring, Roman steals the mic from Baron and Baron steals it back. Baron says he knows Reigns is banged up from last night, and he’s not the big dog tonight, he’s a whining hurting little puppy. Corbin says Reigns might not be Champion anymore by the time of the Triple Threat match in Saudi Arabia. Corbin announces that Reigns will defend his Title tonight against himself – Baron Corbin. Corbin walks off as Reigns stares him down.

– We see a shot of Dean Ambrose staring into the camera backstage. He takes on Drew McIntyre in singles action tonight.

Drew starts to try to kick Ambrose away, but Ambrose slams his leg against the ring apron now. Back in the ring, Drew turns things around with some big shots and he starts working over Dean’s shoulder now. Dean dodges a shot and rolls up Drew for a two count, then he nails Drew with a right hand to the face. Dean and Drew trade blows to the face now, and then Ambrose throws Drew down by the hair. They fight up to the top rope, where Ambrose punches Drew down until he’s hanging in the tree of woe. Drew sits up and throws Dean down, but Drew is still selling his knee. They scramble on the mat and Dean locks in a Texas Cloverleaf, but Drew is able to reach the ropes. Drew stuns Dean with a shot to the throat, but Dean comes back with a knee to the face that knocks McIntyre out to ringside. Dean follows up with a suicide dive and both men are down. Ambrose gets up and comes flying off the turnbuckle down towards Drew outside, but Drew dodges him and throws him into the fan barricade. Drew rolls back in the ring as the ref counts, and Dean gets back in the ring at the ref’s 9 count. Dean immediately walks into a big claymore kick from McIntyre, and McIntyre covers for the three count.

Winner: Drew McIntyre

– Drew takes his RAW Tag Title belt and heads to the back as Dean recovers in the ring.

– Coming up: Ronda Rousey is in the house.

– Dolph Ziggler approaches Drew McIntyre in the back and tells him he did a good job. Baron Corbin interrupts and says he has to beat up Reigns later, and Ziggler is going to have to compete too. Ziggler says he can’t go tonight, but Corbin insists, and says Ziggler should invoke his rematch clause because Rollins isn’t here tonight. Corbin says if Rollins doesn’t show up, he will be forced to declare Ziggler the winner and new IC Champion. Ziggler says to make the match.

– We see some replays of Ronda vs. Bliss last night at Hell In A Cell.

– Natalya is backstage when the Bella Twins when Ronda Rousey walks in. The Bella Twins give Rousey props for her win last night, and they ask about the rumor that Ronda wants to host an open challenge for her Title tonight. Ronda jokes around and walks off.

The opening bell sounds and Gable takes control with a butterfly suplex for a two count. Konnor causes a distraction which allows Viktor to get the upper hand on Gable. Viktor works on keeping Gable grounded now until Gable comes back with an arm bar out of nowhere. Gable hits a suplex as Roode cheers him on for another. Gable hits a cannonball from the apron and then a missile dropkick back in ther ing. Konnor tries to interfere but Roode stops him again. Gable hits a German Suplex and bridges for the pin to get the 1-2-3.

The crowd pops as Triple H says he cannot outrace The Reaper, and he says that even his friend the WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels can’t save him. Kenny Omega Tells Kota Ibushi “Whenever, Wherever, I’ll Be Ready”

Kenny Omega and his Golden Lovers tag team partner Kota Ibushi have lit up New Japan Pro Wrestling in 2018. The two main event stars dominated the plaudits for this year’s G1 Climax and fans are expectant for their almost inevitable match for the IWGP Heavyweight Championship. Omega recently took to the microphone at a New Japan ‘Road To Destruction’ show and laid out his challenge to Ibushi.

Kenny Omega stated (translated from Japanese) “Since the day I became Champion. I thought that me being Champion meant that I’m the strongest. That I’m the best, toughest in the world. But the truth is, it’s not really like that. The truth is…Ibushi. The reason I am the best is because of Ibushi. So…After Dominion I told him ‘Whenever, Wherever, I’ll Be Ready.'”

Ibushi then asked Omega to “remember their promise.” Omega then finished his promo by proclaiming that “The Golden Lovers are more precious to me than any title.” It looks as though we may have to wait a while for the showdown to happen.

Kenny Omega recently defended his IWGP Heavyweight Championship against Tomohiro Ishii. The two stars collided at the Destruction in Hiroshima show this past Saturday. Omega is set to defend his title against Hiroshi Tanahashi at Wrestle Kingdom pending Tanahahsi’s defence of his briefcase contract between now and January 4th.

Brock Lesnar Reportedly Making Seven Figures To Wrestle In Saudi Arabia

Brock Lesnar is reportedly in line for a seven-figure payday when WWE returns to Saudi Arabia on November 2nd.

Lesnar made a surprise return at Sunday’s Hell in a Cell pay-per-view. During the main event between Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman, Lesnar’s music hit and The Beast Incarnate hit the ring. Lesnar kicked down the padlocked door, entered the cage and went berserk. He laid waste to Reigns and Strowman and the main event ended in a no contest.

After the pay-per-view went off the air, fans in the arena chanted, “This is bullsh*t” at the inconclusive match finish (Video). It was Lesnar’s first appearance for WWE since dropping the Universal Championship at SummerSlam.

WWE Returns To Saudi Arabia

The live event on 11/2 is part of WWE’s lucrative 10-year deal with the country. The Greatest Royal Rumble back in April was a financial windfall for WWE. Based on WWE’s quarterly business statement, the show brought in an estimated $45 million. The show was more profitable than even WrestleMania 34. There is a ton of money being thrown around and WWE plans to stack the show with as much A-list talent as they can find.

According to Dave Meltzer (via MMAFighting.com), Brock Lesnar will be making “well into the seven figures” to wrestle in Saudi Arabia. Expect to see Lesnar involved in the Universal title picture on that show. He could face Roman Reigns in a single match or be part of a 3-way match involving Braun Strowman.

WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels is also rumored to be coming out of retirement in Saudi Arabia. Michaels is being advertised as the special guest referee for the Triple H vs. Undertaker match at Super Show-Down on October 6th.

Although he has not been seen on WWE programming since wrestling Triple H at the Greatest Royal Rumble in April, he did work a live event earlier this month. He wrote the following:

The Rock Shows Off Titan Games Arena (Photo)

Former WWE Champion Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson mentioned on Instagram that he started filming the first season of Titan Games this past weekend as the ten-episode reality competition will premiere in January 2019 on NBC. The show will have a format similar to American Gladiators. He wrote the following:

“Build it and they will come. Big first night of shooting TITAN GAMES in our massive & spectacular structure known as TITAN ARENA. I created this show to give ordinary people a once in a lifetime shot at doing extraordinary things and ultimately, stand atop our Mt. Olympus and be crowned TITAN. The crowd will be HYPED, the competitors are READY and I could use a stiff tequila. Ain’t no business like show business, so let’s get this show on the road.”

WWE Provides Medical Updates On Jeff Hardy, Dolph Ziggler

Following last night’s Hell In A Cell event, the WWE has released medical updates on Jeff Hardy and Dolph Ziggler.

Jeff Hardy promised to deliver the “unexpected,” and he certainly delivered on that promise after working his way across one of the Cell’s support beams before attempting a splash on a prone Randy Orton, only for “The Viper” to move out the way. All that met Hardy on the way down was the table that Orton had, just moments ago, been laid across.

Engimatic Enigma

“Following his brutal Hell in a Cell Match against Randy Orton, Jeff Hardy was tended to by EMTs at ringside. [WWE Social Media Correspondent] Cathy Kelley then reported on Instagram that Hardy complained of severe abdominal pains backstage, prompting WWE medical personnel to have him transported to a local medical facility.”

Michael Cole would later inform the audience that Hardy began coughing blood on the way to the hospital.

Cathy Kelley rounded out the report, informing the WWE Universe that Jeff would be kept overnight for “further observation.”

Stealing The Show

Hardy wasn’t the only superstar to go flying from the Hell In A Cell last night. Both Seth Rollins and Dolph Ziggler found themselves victim to gravity, plummeting from the side of the cage after a tense exchange.

WWE had this update on Ziggler:

“After falling off the side of the Hell in a Cell structure during Roman Reigns’ Universal Championship Match against Braun Strowman, Dolph Ziggler was looked at by WWE medical personnel, but he refused to go to a local medical facility. Instead, Ziggler left the AT&T Center under his own power alongside tag team partner Drew McIntyre.”

Universal Title Match Involving Brock Lesnar Set For WWE Crown Jewel Event

The likely main event for WWE’s next event in Saudi Arabia has been announced that involves Brock Lesnar.

As seen on this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW in Dallas, TX at the American Airlines Center on the USA Network, RAW General Manager Baron Corbin officially announced that Roman Reigns would defend the Universal Title against Lesnar and Braun Strowman in a triple threat match.

This also marked the official announcement of WWE holding an event, which is titled, “Crown Jewel,” on November 2nd in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia that will air on their streaming service, WWE Network. As noted, Lesnar is expected to earn some big money as a result of working this match.

This match came about after the angle that WWE booked at Sunday’s (September 16, 2018) pay-per-view event in San Antonio, Texas at the AT&T Center on the WWE Network that saw Lesnar make his return during the Hell in a Cell match between Reigns and Strowman. This match ended in a no contest once Lesnar kicked in the door then attacked both stars with a piece of a broken table followed by hitting the F-5.

Reigns beat Lesnar to win the Universal Title at the WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view event, which marked Lesnar’s last match in a WWE ring.

Lio Rush & Bobby Lashley Have Something Planned For Raw Tonight

Bobby Lashley’s new manager/cruiserweight competitor, Lio Rush, has a plan for tonight’s Raw. He’s also concerned that Lashley’s kids play too much Fortnite but that’s another story. The 23-year-old piece of gold recently posted a conversation he had with his new client to Twitter.

Tonight’s Raw is in Dallas, where Rush and Lashley planned to meet. While they didn’t go into specifics of what they might do tonight, it’s clear they plan on making some kind of impact on the show.

“You know what needs to happen?” Rush said to Lashley after asking how his kids are. “They need to put down that Fornite, it’s messing up all the kids’ brains.”

Lio Rush on 205 Live

Lio Rush and Drake Maverick recently have been used as managers on Monday Night Raw. The belief backstage is that introducing more managers or “Hype men” could help talent who aren’t strong talkers.

Being Lashley’s manager hasn’t changed Rush’s status on 205 Live now. This week, the purple brand’s show will air Wednesday night instead of Tuesday after Smackdown. There still has been no official word, however, on when the show will tape, where it will tape, and/or if the name of the show will change now that it is not scheduled to air live.

Here is the US Bank Arena’s official promo video for Starrcade:

WWE Starrcade

Longtime fans will remember Starrcade as WCW’s signature pay-per-view event of the year. The first-ever Starrcade event went down on November 24, 1983, was held at the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina. The last edition of Starrcade under the WCW banner took place in December 2000. WWE brought back the theme for a live event at the Greensboro Coliseum last November.

As of this writing, there’s no word yet on if this will just be a live event or turned into a network special, but with it being held a few days after Survivor Series, it will likely just be a house show.

Lana Discusses Romance With Rusev, Total Divas Season 8

Lana continues to make the media rounds to promote the upcoming season 8 of Total Divas. She recently spoke with Inquisitr’s Carter Lee about various topics including her romance with Rusev.

She reflected on meeting him the second day at a tanning business while in WWE NXT where he told her that he was from Bulgaria and she spent time in Bulgaria, which made them have an immediately connected.

“Then on the third day, I had a promo with Dusty Rhodes—he was the artistic director of NXT, and he ran all the promo classes and character development—and I had about five different pitches. My first one, I just started speaking Russian, and then I switched to perfect English. Dusty pulled me aside afterwards and he’s like, ‘I want you to work with Rusev.’ [Laughing] I’m like, ‘Rusev? Who is that? Oh, the tanning Bulgarian!’ I’m so passionate about the business, and I’m so passionate about storytelling, and I made him come to my house every day and practice promos and vignettes. We would shoot vignettes on my phone. I was a nut. A complete nut.”

She continued by stating that within two months, they were paired together on WWE TV and within a month, she had a crush on him. At first, she didn’t want to just start dating someone in the business and became friends then, later on, they fell in love. She added that he’s a very good man and has really great character.

Total Divas Season 8

Season 8 of the show is slated to premiere on September 19 on the E! Network and will see a few changes to the cast on this season of the show as Alexa Bliss, Carmella and Maryse will not be returning to the main cast. Lana stated that wrestling fans should tune in because this season will feature the return of Paige and her retirement. She noted that Paige opens up, and her story is really powerful.

“Even if you know nothing about wrestling, she has a powerful story and I think that people should definitely tune in. It can inspire a lot of people’s lives. You’re also going to see me take a lot of Fireball shots, per usual, on my days off, which is always entertaining to watch. It’s a little wild. I mean, someone has to bring the entertainment, and apparently, I do a lot of that, for better or for worse. But you’re also going to see how I’m so happy about wrestling.”

She continued by stating that this season is full of ups and downs and has disappointment within the cast. She noted that it shows what they do with their setbacks as it will define their future and destiny. She hopes that it will inspire people and also be relatable. She added that although she’s not the strongest or the fastest or the best in-ring competitor, no one will stop her from achieving her dreams.

Video: Fans Chat “This Is Bullsh*t” After Hell In A Cell Went Off The Air

Although WWE officials gave fans a surprise appearance by former WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar at Hell in a Cell, people were not happy with how the show ended.

At Sunday’s (September 16, 2018) pay-per-view event in San Antonio, Texas at the AT&T Center on the WWE Network, Lesnar returned during the Universal Title match between Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman that saw WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley serve as the special guest referee.

Lesnar would kick in the door then attacked both stars with a piece of a broken table followed by hitting the F-5. This match was ruled a no contest. This led to the show closing with Lesnar and Heyman walking to the back while Reigns and Strowman laid in the ring.

After the show, a video surfaced of fans in attendance showing their displeasure about how the show ended and the finish of the match. In the video, it shows fans booing and started a “this is bullsh*t’ chant.

WWE is hyping what the fallout of this match and Lesnar’s return will be on this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW in Dallas, TX at the American Airlines Center on the USA Network.
