It was revealed on Tuesday night’s episode of WWE Main Event that The Authority will make a major announcement on next week’s RAW regarding the future of the WWE World Heavyweight championship.
With Daniel Bryan undergoing neck surgery on Thursday, there have been a lot of questions about how WWE will handle the situation. Possible scenarios include:
- Vacating the WWE World Heavyweight Championship
- Crowning an “Interim” Champion
- Allowing Bryan to keep the title and elevate the Intercontinental championship in his absence
