RAW & SmackDown Tapings In Jeopardy Due To Winter Storm Juno

6

Tonight’s WWE RAW from Hartford, Connecticut and Tuesday’s SmackDown tapings from Boston, Massachusetts are in danger of being canceled due to Winter Storm Juno.

During a press conference on Monday morning, Connecticut Governor Dan Malloy was asked about specifically about the status of tonight’s WWE RAW. Even though the show has not been officially cancelled, Malloy said, “As important to the world economy as wrestling is, public safety tops it.”

Hartford Mayor Pedro Segarra has declared a “snow emergency” for the city, another sign that tonight’s RAW could be interrupted.

As of Tuesday’s SmackDown tapings, the severe weather storm could prevent the show from taking place. PWTorch.com editor Wade Keller tweeted the following on Monday morning, noting that the SmackDown tapings are “all but officially cancelled.” –
