WrestleMania 31 set yet another new record this year, as the fans in attendance broke the record for most WiFi data used at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, by using 4.5 terabytes of WiFi data, according to TechGraphs.com.

The previous record was set during the NFL’s San Francisco 49ers 2014 home game, as 3.3 terabytes of WiFi date was used during the game.

When it comes to the record broken at WrestleMania 31, certain changes had to be made to accomodate the amount of use of WiFi expected.

Since the stadium was not built to handle that kind of traffic from users on the actual field of play, 69 additional access points were temporarily installed to accommodate fans for WrestleMania this year. Extra WiFi coverage was also added to the temporary seating areas that were added for the massive outdoor event.
