WWE originally planned on having this year’s King Of The Ring tournament take place across several weeks on the WWE Network.
Part of WWE’s original plan for the tournament was for the first week of matches to be free on the WWE Network in April and then fans would have to pay to stay with the Network and watch the tournament conclude in May.
Obviously WWE ended up changing their plans to what we saw this week, which could have something to do with the company announcing another free month for new subscribers.
