Last week, the lineup was released for the RAW brand’s September 9th live event from Manila, Philippines. “Card subject to change” is always a factor to keep in mind, but these previews often give some insight regarding upcoming WWE feuds.
On Friday, the BancorpSouth Arena announced an updated card for upcoming SmackDown live event from Tupelo, MS on Monday, September 19th:
- WWE World Champion Dean Ambrose vs. AJ Styles
- Randy Orton vs. Bray Wyatt
- IC Champion The Miz vs. Dolph Ziggler
- Kane vs. Alberto Del Rio
There was a report at NoDQ.com earlier this week that stated AJ Styles was going to Ambrose’s SummerSlam opponent, but Ziggler was given the title shot instead becasuse there was still ‘unfinished business’ between Styles & Cena – and Styles will challenge for the title after SummerSlam. This 9/19 house show lineup seems to corroborate that story.
