Vader Says Doctors Have Given Him 2 Years To Live

Leon “Vader” White says he’s been diagnosed with congestive heart failure and two different doctors have given him two years to live.

Vader says his long, physical career as a football player and wrestler have taken a toll on his heart. Prior to his wrestling career that saw him dominate WCW and Japan in the early 90’s, Vader was also a two-time All-American football player for the University of Colorado. He played a season for the Los Angeles Rams and competed in Super Bowl XIV back in 1980.

He tweeted the following late Monday night, acknowledging “reality.”

Longtime rival Mick Foley offered his support to Vader during this difficult time:

Vader will be appearing on Bruce Prichard’s Something To Wrestle With podcast this Friday.
