Tuesday’s “Sin City” edition of SmackDown Live from Las Vegas averaged 2,754,000 viewers, a healthy increase from 2,582,000 the previous week. This was the most-watched episode of SmackDown since the post-WrestleMania Superstar Shake-Up, which drew over 3.1 million viewers.
By comparison, this week’s RAW did 2,903,000 viewers, so this was one of the narrower gaps we’ve seen between the show in quite some time.
SmackDown saw the WWE television return of Vince McMahon, who took part in a show-closing angle involving Kevin Owens. The New Day also captured the SmackDown tag titles from The Usos in a street fight and Natalya retaining the SmackDown women’s title against Naomni.
