Wrestle Kingdom is New Japan Pro Wrestling’s annual January 4th Tokyo Dome show, it is regarded as one of the premier events in all of wrestling and now the main event for the 2018 event has been confirmed: IWGP Heavyweight Champion Kazuchika Okada will be defending against Tetsuya Naito .
Naito won the right to challenge Okada after winning this year’s G1 Climax tournament, although he had to defend his ‘contract’ for the match against Tomohiro Ishii at this past Monday’s King of Pro Wrestling event.
Okada also confirmed his participation in the Tokyo Dome main event after defeating Los Ingobernables member EVIL in the main event of King of Pro Wrestling.
