During Monday’s UK RAW from Manchester, announcer Corey Graves joked that Enzo Amore might be even less liked than [British journalist] Piers Morgan. That comment didn’t go unnoticed, with Piers Morgan firing back at Graves on Twitter:
You’re the guy who couldn’t make it as a wrestler so turned to (bad..) commentary, right @WWEGraves? #WWERaw pic.twitter.com/sGZn2JXQw9

Fellow RAW broadcaster Renee Young came to the defense of Graves, questioning how Piers Morgan even came across the clip. Morgan is actually a longtime WWE fan and has attended several WWE shows.
Lol guess someone was feeling lonely tonight so #searched his own name ? https://t.co/jukY2Y8K6n

Corey Graves fired back at Piers Morgan and revealed why he name dropped him.
I’m sorry, I meant no disrespect. I had no idea who you were. I simply googled “most hated man in England.”
Welcome to relevance though! https://t.co/g0R8dXQs6m

Mate, I have 5.8m more followers than you. When it comes to relevance, I'm John Cena & you're Heath Slater. https://t.co/7IX2U832Lu

I owe you an apology. I actually do like your Carpool Karaoke Show.
My bad….oh, wait. https://t.co/WuALBzmXcZ
