WWE Survivor Series 2017 airs on the WWE Network this Sunday, November 19th. The Kickoff Show starts at 5 p.m. ET and the main show begins at 7 p.m.
Enzo Will Still Be Your Cruiserweight Champion

Enzo Amore will defend his Cruiserweight Championship against Kalisto during the Kickoff Show at Survivor Series. On this past Monday’s episode of RAW, Enzo Amore and Drew Gulak defeated Akira Tozawa and Kalisto in a tag team match.
Kalisto has the advantage when it comes to wrestling ability, but I’ve got a feeling that Drew Gulak might interfere and ensure that his friend Enzo Amore remains the Cruiserweight Champion.
The Miz Will Fall Victim To The End Of Days

SmackDown’s United States Champion Baron Corbin will square off against RAW’s Intercontinental Champion The Miz this Sunday at Survivor Series. This match wasn’t made official until this past Tuesday’s episode of SmackDown. Baron Corbin defended his title against Sin Cara and after planting Sin Cara with the End of Days. Sin Cara had been a thorn in Corbin’s side for the past few weeks, but he can now finally focus on his opponent at Survivor Series.
Corbin and The Miz have traded shots on social media leading up until this match. The Miz briefly addressed Corbin during this week’s episode of RAW and claimed that Corbin is nowhere close to being on The Miz’s level. Not only is this match a hard match to predict, it is a difficult match to generate any excitement for. Both Corbin and The Miz are heel champions and both have been made to look like fools recently. The Miz constantly relies on outside interference to win matches and Baron Corbin is perfectly capable of losing every match he is a part of.
I’m going to pick Corbin to get the victory on Sunday, simply because a loss won’t damage The Miz at all. Corbin can’t continue to stack up losses and expect to be viewed as a dominant force on SmackDown. The Kickoff Show for Survivor Series is two hours long and as of now the Cruiserweight Championship is the only match on it. I wouldn’t be surprised if this match finds itself on the Kickoff Show as well.
Team SmackDown Will Learn That No One Is Ready For Asuka

Team RAW (Alicia Fox, Nia Jax, Bayley, Sasha Banks and Asuka) will face Team SmackDown (Becky Lynch, Carmella, Naomi, Tamina and a mystery Superstar) this Sunday in a 5-on-5 Elimination match. Charlotte was originally supposed to the fifth member of Team SmackDown, but she captured the SmackDown Women’s Championship on this past Tuesday’s episode of SmackDown and will now face Alexa Bliss at the PPV.
Natalya could wind up being the mystery Superstar to join Team SmackDown. Paige could also make her long-awaited return at the PPV or it could wind up being a Superstar completely off of everyone’s radar. RAW invaded SmackDown this past Tuesday night and the RAW women’s team barged into SmackDown’s women’s locker room. Becky Lynch, Naomi, Tamina and Carmella were beaten down. RAW Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss then connected with a massive punch that knocked Charlotte to the ground.
Even if Paige winds up being the fifth member of Team SmackDown, I’m still picking Team RAW to win this match. There is only one reason for that and that reason is Asuka. She needs to lead her team to victory and should continue to be dominant on RAW for the foreseeable future.
Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens Will Ruin The New Day’s Night

New Day showed up during a RAW main event and cut a promo in the crowd. It was during the main event, in which Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose were defending their RAW Tag Team Championships against Sheamus and Cesaro. RAW GM Kurt Angle rushed the entire RAW roster to the ring because he was paranoid due to the SmackDown roster invading RAW previously. In the end, it was just New Day in the crowd and no other members of the SmackDown roster were with them.
Ambrose and Rollins were distracted by all of the chaos and Sheamus took advantage. Sheamus connected with a Brogue Kick to Rollins, while Cesaro prevented Ambrose from getting back into the ring. Sheamus then covered Rollins and The Bar became the new Tag Team Champions.
On this past Monday’s episode of RAW, Roman Reigns made his WWE return after suffering from an illness. Reigns, Ambrose and Rollins then issued a challenge to New Day at Survivor Series. The Shield showed up as Stephanie McMahon was scolding RAW GM Kurt Angle and defended him. The New Day accepted The Shield’s challenge the following night on SmackDown.
Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn have been battling New Day the past couple of weeks on SmackDown. As of now, Zayn and Owens are not on the Survivor Series card. You’ve got to believe that those two Superstars will make an impact this Sunday and ultimately cost Team SmackDown. Owens and Zayn had a very brief backstage segment on Tuesday’s episode of SmackDown. During the segment, Owens and Zayn complained that they should be facing The Shield this Sunday instead of New Day.
Owens and Zayn are either going to show up during this match or the 5-on-5 men’s match. I’m going to predict that they are going to show up here and cost New Day the match.
The Queen Will Rise Above The Goddess

This match was originally booked as Natalya versus Alexa Bliss. However, Charlotte Flair reclaimed her throne and captured the SmackDown Women’s Championship on this past Tuesday’s episode of SmackDown. Ric Flair then made a surprise return and celebrated with his daughter in an awesome moment.
RAW Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss has proven herself time and time again on RAW. She breezed through a feud with Mickie James and the feud came to an end when Bliss retained her title after connecting with a big-time punch. Bliss employed that same punch to Charlotte’s face on Tuesday night when RAW invaded SmackDown.
Charlotte was enjoying one of the best nights of her career on Tuesday night until Bliss and Team RAW showed up. She had once again become champion and got to share that moment with her father whom had overcome so much this year. One moment Charlotte was on cloud nine, the next she was on the floor after being decked by Alexa Bliss.
Charlotte Flair will get her revenge Sunday night and defeat Alexa Bliss. This is a match that I couldn’t care less who wins, I just cannot wait to see it. Both Charlotte and Alexa Bliss are terrific in-ring performers and I hope this match is given a lot of time on Sunday. The event is 6 hours long so you would think that would be a given, but I’d like to see this one go for 15+ minutes.
The Bar Will Be Taken To The Uso Penitentiary

This match was going to be Rollins and Ambrose versus The Usos, but New Day showing up on RAW ultimately cost Rollins and Ambrose their RAW Tag Team Championships. Sheamus and Cesaro were guests on Miz TV on Monday’s episode of RAW and vowed to defeat The Usos at Survivor Series. The Bar stated that RAW was the better show and that they will prove they are the best tag team in WWE on Sunday. The Usos responded on Tuesday’s episode of SmackDown and vowed to win the match as well.
As noted earlier, Surivor Series’ Kickoff Show is two hours long and the only confirmed match for that is Enzo Amore versus Kaliso. I think that both The Miz versus Corbin and this match might wind up being a part of the Kickoff Show. I’ve raved about The Usos work for some time now on SmackDown. They have been absolutely terrific since turning heel. Sheamus and Cesaro have established themselves as a great team on RAW. I hope this match stays on the main card because I’m a fan of tag team wrestling. Both of these teams are incredibly talented and wildly underrated. That won’t change if they continually get bumped off the main card.
The Usos have toned down their act in recent weeks. They offered a truce to New Day after their brutal encounter at WWE Hell in a Cell 2017. The Bar are full blown heels and have no problem getting under everyone’s skin. I think that this match will be very solid and in the end The Usos will emerge victorious.
Triple H Will Lead Team RAW To Victory In Spite Of Kurt Angle

Team SmackDown (Shane McMahon, Bobby Roode, Randy Orton, Shinsuke Nakamura and John Cena) will battle Team RAW (Kurt Angle, Finn Balor, Samoa Joe, Braun Storwman and Triple) this Sunday at WWE Survivor Series 2017.
Team SmackDown fired the first shot leading up to this match when they invaded RAW. Stephanie McMahon then returned and scolded RAW GM Kurt Angle for allowing the invasion to happen. Despite her criticisms, Stephanie McMahon still made Kurt Angle the captain of Team RAW.
Angle liked what he saw in a match between Samoa Joe and Finn Balor and determined that they both deserved to be on Team RAW. Braun Strowman spent a week in a garbage truck after WWE TLC and has beaten the hell out of everyone that has gotten in his way ever since. Thus, Strowman was a no-brainer for Team RAW.
Then Jason Jordan happened. Everything fell apart for Angle when he tried to insert his storyline son into this match. He selected Jason Jordan as the fifth and final member of Team RAW, even though the most impressive thing Jason Jordan had done recently was lob groceries at Elias while he was trying to perform a song.
Angle put all of the members of Team RAW into matches on this past week’s episode of RAW. Jason Jordan faced the returning Bray Wyatt and won via a roll-up. Angle was shown backstage with a gigantic smile on his face backstage after the match as RAW Commissioner Stephanie McMahon stood next to him with a smile on her face as well. Everything was coming up Team RAW.
Bray Wyatt got pissed off after losing to Jason Jordan and attacked him. The crowd rejoiced as Wyatt slammed Jordan’s knee into the steel post. The crowd serenaded Jason Jordan with “Na-Na-Na-Na, Na-Na-Na-Na… hey hey hey goodbye” as Jordan limped up the entrance ramp. Kurt Angle approached his injured son backstage and said that he didn’t think it would be a good idea for Jordan to compete in the match at Survivor Series. Angle said that he need Jordan at 100 percent. Jason said that he would be fine and pleaded with his father to keep him in the match.
Angle then walked down to the ring and announced that Jason Jordan will not be competing at Survivor Series. Jason Jordan hobbled his way down the entrance ramp and pleaded with his father to reconsider. Kurt Angle was Jason Jordan’s idol growing up. Jordan watched Angle win a gold-freaking-medal with a broken-freaking-neck. It was simply unfathomable that Angle would deny his son the opportunity to overcome adversity and stand side-by-side with this father and childhood idol.
As things turned out, it was out of Angle’s hands. Kurt Angle hesitated to tell his son who his replacement was at Survivor Series. Perhaps it was foolish of Kurt Angle to add Jordan to the match, but Angle knew it was wrong to deny his son the opportunity to compete. Angle hemmed and hawed for a minute until Stephanie McMahon came down to the entrance ramp and demanded that Angle make the announcement. Angle once again hesitated and then Triple H’s music hit.
Triple H walked to the ring with a scowl on his face. He didn’t give a damn about Kurt Angle’s struggle with letting his son down, Triple H’s only concern was getting Team RAW in the best position to succeed at Survivor Series. Triple H announced that he will be replacing Jason Jordan as the fifth member of the RAW men’s team at Survivor Series. Jason Jordan had tears in his eyes as he pleaded with Triple H to keep him in the match.
Triple H glanced at Kurt Angle and then booted Jason Jordan in the chest. Kurt Angle watched in horror as Triple H Pedigreed his son. Triple H then angrily marched up the entrance ramp while muttering to himself as Angle checked on his son.
Team SmackDown is not without it’s conflict as well. SmackDown Commissioner Shane McMahon decided to invade RAW without informing SmackDown GM Daniel Bryan. Daniel didn’t agree with that decision and went to RAW to try and form a truce with RAW GM Kurt Angle. That didn’t work out too well for Bryan, as he was Chokeslammed in the dark by Kane and then stretchered out of the arena. Bryan is still unhappy with Shane McMahon and informed Shane that the two need to have a conversation following Survivor Series.
Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens have made it known that they have no allegiance to SmackDown. It is the show they perform on and that is about it. Both Owens and Zayn failed to earn a spot on Team SmackDown when they lost their qualifying matches to Shinsuke Nakamura and Randy Orton. On Tuesday’s episode of SmackDown, The Shield attacked The New Day and Owens and Zayn retreated through the crowd. They didn’t stick up for Team SmackDown on Tuesday night. They simply walked away.
There are a ton of variables and possible interferences that could happen during this match. Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens can cost Team SmackDown the match. Kane could show up after Braun Strowman connected with a Running Powerslam through the ring on Monday night. I’m sure Kane wasn’t too pleased with that and maybe he wants to get some revenge on Strowman this Sunday night. Finn Balor and Samoa Joe teamed up Monday night against Gallows and Anderson at the request of Kurt Angle. Joe and Balor got the win, but Joe walked away immediately and didn’t celebrate the victory at all. Joe and Balor clearly don’t like each other and that could come into play this Sunday.
Kurt Angle could be pissed off at Triple H for Pedigreeing his son. Triple H could be pissed off at Kurt Angle for not doing what is best for business. They could turn on each other during the match and cost their team. There have been rumors for some time now that Triple H and Angle are going to have a match at WrestleMania. All of these things can happen Sunday night and that is what makes this match so interesting.
I still come back to Jason Jordan. WWE decided to make Jason Jordan Kurt Angle’s son for a storyline. It fell flat and nobody bought it. The crowd completely rejected Jason Jordan and WWE distanced themselves from the storyline. Jordan was in a meaningless feud with Elias, he teamed up with Matt Hardy for a bit after Jeff Hardy got injured and has generally been wasting away on RAW every week.
Jordan was given the opportunity of a lifetime by his father and it was taken away from him. Angle didn’t stop Triple H from Pedigreeing Jordan. Jason has every right to be pissed off and I think he is going to wind up being the x-factor in this match. I think Jason Jordan will attack Triple H during this match and Kurt Angle will become distracted by it. It will ultimately lead to Angle getting eliminated.
Stephanie McMahon stated that if Team RAW loses at Survivor Series, Kurt Angle will be fired from his position as the RAW GM. Triple H will guide Team RAW to victory, but his conflict with Kurt Angle will be far from over. Team RAW picks up the victory in spite of Kurt Angle.
The Beast Will Conquer The Phenomenal One

This match was originally supposed to be Brock Lesnar versus Jinder Mahal. Paul Heyman even cut a promo on Jinder Mahal and scoffed at Mahal referring to himself as the “Beast master”. AJ Styles captured the WWE Championship from Jinder Mahal on a recent episode of SmackDown and will now face Universal Champion Brock Lesnar at Survivor Series.
AJ Styles versus Brock Lesnar needs no build, but WWE gave us one anyway. Paul Heyman cut a promo on this past week’s episode of RAW and gave the WWE Universe five reasons that they should tune into Survivor Series. Heyman was very complimentary of Styles, but all of his reasons came back to the same point. Brock Lesnar is going to defeat AJ Styles this Sunday.
SmackDown GM Daniel Bryan made his return Tuesday night after being Chokeslammed by Kane on RAW. Daniel Bryan made himself AJ Styles’ advocate for the night and responded to Paul Heyman’s promo. Bryan said that Brock Lesnar has a tendency to quit. Bryan brought up Lesnar quitting WWE in the past and submitting to a “half-assed knee bar” at a UFC event. Daniel claimed that AJ Styles will cause Lesnar to mentally quit at Survivor Series and that will lead him to victory. Styles grabbed the microphone and added that he is going to prove that SmackDown is not the “B show” at Survivor Series and that is the house that AJ Styles built.
After the promo with Daniel Bryan, AJ Styles was shown walking backstage. Former WWE Champion Jinder Mahal approached Styles. Mahal said that after Lesnar destroys Styles at Survivor Series, he was going to take back his WWE Championship. Styles smirked and walked away without responding. I wouldn’t be surprised if Jinder Mahal shows up and costs AJ Styles this match. Even if he doesn’t, I don’t see AJ getting the win on Sunday. Lesnar’s matches have been lackluster so far during his Universal Championship reign. Hopefully that changes on Sunday and we get to see the special match that both of these Superstars are capable of.
