Report: WWE Planning All Women’s Event

While the talks of a Women’s Tag Team titles being introduced are still hot, it appears that WWE might be planning another big surprise for the fans of Women’s Wrestling.

According Pro Wrestling Sheet, the company officials are seriously discussing the idea of holding a special event featuring all women for later this year.

This women’s event which is being eyed for sometime in late September or early October could not only include talent from NXT roster but some indie stars as well.

This show is apparently being planned to make up for the lack of female stars at the Greatest Royal Rumble so it’s very much possible that it will be a Network Special similar to the show at Saudi Arabia.

Though since the event is not set in stone yet it’s also possible that it could be just a mega Live Event similar to the recent MSG show or even a full-fledged PPV.

The Greatest Royal Rumble event did not feature any female stars due to the cultural restrictions of Saudi Arabia and the lack of woman wrestlers on the show was highly criticised by fans.

We’ll keep you posted as more details become available.
