Vince McMahon Absent From SmackDown
This week’s episode of SmackDown was full of impactful events from Becky Lynch announcing her replacement for Survivor Series to Daniel Bryan winning the WWE Championship from AJ Styles.
However, despite the big angles and the show being the go home episode for Survivor Series, Vince McMahon was not backstage for SmackDown Live this week, according to Pwinsider.
Though as we noted before, he was still involved in the decision to turn Bryan heel and put the WWE Championship on him. You can check out some more backstage details on the title change here.
NXT UK Women’s Championship Tournament Announced
During the eighth episode of NXT UK, we saw the debut of the WWE UK Women’s Championship and a tournament to crown the inaugural champion was then announced as well.
The tournament began later in the show and after a couple of matches which saw Dakota Kai and Jinny advancing to the semi-finals, below are the updated standings of the tournament:
