Monday’s edition of WWE RAW from Cincinnati, OH at the US Bank Arena averaged 2.224 million viewers, up from 2.158 million the previous week, which was the lowest non-holiday RAW viewership in history.

Here is the hourly viewership breakdown, courtesy of ShowbuzzDaily:

  • Hour 1: 2.468 million
  • Hour 2: 2.240 million
  • Hour 3: 2.024 million

WWE did have to go up against to two NBA Playoff Games that had an impact on RAW’s viewership. Following last week’s low numbers, the decline of ratings was reportedly the talk of the television industry.

For comparison, the same episode last year drew 3.136 million viewers in hour one, 3.184 for the second hour, and 2.878 in hour three.

RAW featured a Vince McMahon, WWE Champion Kofi Kingston, Roman Reigns, and Daniel Bryan opening the show where the wild card rule was announced.

Some of the matches that took place include Baron Corbin & Bobby Lashley vs. AJ Styles & Seth Rollins, Ricochet vs. Robert Roode, Lacey Evans vs. Allie Katrina, The Viking Raiders (Erik & Ivar) vs.Curt Hawkins & Zack Ryder, Roman Reigns vs. Drew McIntyre, and Kingston vs. Bryan for the WWE Title in the main event.

WWE will attempt to rebound with its viewership for RAW next week. In case you missed the show, you can check out the five takeaways here.
