WWE Gives Women In MITB Ladder Match Time Off This Weekend To Practice

It looks like WWE gave some of the ladies time off this weekend to prepare for the battle they will be going through at tonight’s WWE Money In The Bank 2019 pay-per-view.

Dave Meltzer reported via the latest episode of his Wrestling Observer Radio program at F4WOnline.com that WWE gave the women competing in tonight’s Women’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match some time off from the scheduled RAW and SmackDown Live non-televised events this weekend.

The longtime editor of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter went on to mention that the expectation level for this year’s Women’s Money In The Bank match should not be held to the same standard as last year’s show. This is primarily due to the talent involved this year compared to last year, however the women scheduled for tonight’s match were given time off from WWE house shows this weekend specifically to practice for the big ladder match.

As noted, Nikki Cross has been announced as the replacement for Alexa Bliss in the Women’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match. Also scheduled for the match are Natalya, Bayley, Naomi, Ember Moon, Carmella, Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke.

WWE Money In The Bank 2019 goes down from the XL Center in Hartford, Connecticut this evening. The show will air live on pay-per-view, and will also stream live via the WWE Network. Make sure to join us here at SEScoops.com later this evening for live play-by-play results coverage of the show.
