Michael Gregory Mizanin joined the 4th season of WWE Tough Enough in October of 2004. 15 years later, the Miz is celebrating his anniversary with a company many said he’d be fired from not long after starting.
He posted the following to his Instagram account to celebrate his WWE anniversary:

39-year-old Miz dropped out of college in 2001 to be on the cast of MTV’s Real World. He would continue to appear on numerous reality TV shows until joining WWE in 2004.
The Miz is one of the most decorated Intercontinental Champions of all time. He currently sits second on the list of most combined days spent with the title at 597 across 8 reigns. He’s just a little over 3 weeks away from passing Pedro Morales’ record of 619 days spent with the belt.
The Miz is also a former WWE Champion, 2x United States champion, 7x tag-team champion, 2x Slammy Award winner and he also won the first Mixed Match Challenge tournament with Asuka. He was also voted the most improved wrestler by the readers of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter in both 2008 and 2009.
