TNA Bound for Glory 2024 saw Joe Hendry have the biggest match of his career when he went one-on-one with Nic Nemeth for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship. Given his viral popularity, many felt that the show was the perfect night to see Hendry win the big one, and that was nearly the case until John Layfield got involved.

The Scottish sensation’s star power has consistently grown this year, thanks in part to his role as part of WWE NXT. Hendry was one of the unsuccessful challengers for the TNA World Title back at Slammiversary, in another instance of TNA ‘dropping the ball’ in the eyes of many.
