Starting in January 2025, WWE’s flagship program, Monday Night Raw, will transition to Netflix as part of a landmark $5 billion agreement. This move signifies Raw’s departure from traditional linear television for the first time in over three decades.
A significant change accompanying this transition is that Raw will broadcast live regardless of its taping location, including international venues. Traditionally, episodes filmed overseas were pre-recorded and aired later in their usual time slots. This change is set to take effect during WWE’s international tour in March 2025, which includes multiple Raw tapings in the United Kingdom. Fans can anticipate live broadcasts of these UK-based episodes, marking a significant shift in WWE’s programming approach.

WWE President Nick Khan has assured that despite the platform change, Raw will remain family and sponsor-friendly on Netflix, despite reports they’re reverting to ‘TV-MA.’
The inaugural live episode of WWE Raw op Netflix is scheduled for January 6, 2025, at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles. This premiere will feature top WWE stars, including John Cena, Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, CM Punk, and Bianca Belair, along with special surprise guests.
