Fans can expect to see TNA’s Matt Hardy as part of WWE programming soon, including a genuine possibility of an in-ring return. On the latest edition of the Insight podcast, Hardy shared that he has filmed content for the Sports Entertainment juggernaut that will be dropping soon.
“We filmed some content for WWE that’ll probably be dropping pretty soon. I saw the Dudleys did it the day before us, and I know theirs just dropped recently.”
Matt parted ways with WWE in 2020 but the “perfect storm arose” that has allowed him to work with the company recently. Matt also believes that WWE’s ongoing partnership with TNA could make an in-ring return possible.
“I feel good about that… I think you could see us pop up even as TNA champs on some WWE show.”
Matt and Jeff are currently in their third reign as TNA World Tag Team Champions after capturing the gold from The System at Bound for Glory in October 2024. Though the champs have yet to resurface in WWE, TNA Knockouts World Champion Masha Slamovich was spotted at the January 14, edition of WWE NXT.
