Drew McIntyre and CM Punk had one of WWE’s most brutal feuds of 2024, and the Scottish Warrior, isn’t ready to let things rest. In a new interview with The Scottish Sun Sport, McIntyre shared his view that the side of fans Punk sees is far from the genuine article.
“Guy’s a cancer, he plays the part of a hero for the people so well, but the truth is, it’s just all about himself. He doesn’t care.”
The idea of Punk being a ‘cancer’ is not isolated to McIntyre. After his infamous All Out 2022 rant, Punk was reportedly called a cancer by Chris Jericho. Seth Rollins used similar verbiage about Punk in early 2023, planting the seeds for their eventual feud in WWE.
