The Hurt Syndicate Confronted By Returning Former Tag Champions On Dynamite

The Gunn Club is back on AEW TV.

This week’s episode of Dynamite from Gateway Center Arena at College Park in Atlanta, Georgia featured a segment with the new AEW World Tag Team Champions The Hurt Syndicate.

MVP cut a promo on the victory of Shelton Benjamin and Bobby Lashley and told the crowd to get on their feet for the new champions. He then praised the Private Party and claimed that they were in the wrong place at the wrong time.

The former WWE star also teased an announcement but before he could go any further, The Gunn Club’s music hit and the duo of Austin and Colten Gunn made their way to the ring.

When MVP asked them what their business was, Austin introduced the duo as former tag team champions to The Hurt Syndicate. He claimed that they’ve been waiting years to get their rematch for the tag titles.

Colten then claimed that it’s time for the Gunns to take back their titles and in response, MVP granted them a title match for next week’s episode of Dynamite.

The duo of Austin and Colten Gunn have not wrestled on AEW programming since last September. Austin Gunn had suffered an injury during their last match with The Cage of Agony. His brother had also been pulled from TV in his absence.
