As seen this past Friday on SmackDown, the 14-man Tag Team match at tonight’s Bragging Rights pay-per-view received a drastic makeover as five members from Team SmackDown were dropped in favor of Matt Hardy, R-Truth, Finlay and The Hart Dynasty. Dropped from the previous team were Dolph Ziggler, Drew McIntyre, Eric Esobar, and Cryme Tyme.

The change to Team SmackDown was decided in a production meeting just prior to Tuesday’s SmackDown taping in Columbia, South Carolina. After seeing the two original teams together on Raw the night before, Vince McMahon felt the SmackDown side looked a bit weak. Hence, he fine-tuned Team SmackDown by going with Hardy, R-Truth, Finlay and The Hart Dynasty instead.

There was some joking among talent about the company changing its mind just days before the actual match on pay-per-view after spending a considerable amount of time the night before on Raw hyping it.
