– WWE Intercontinental champion The Miz was legitimately busted open on RAW when Kofi Kingston kicked him in the face with his Trouble In Paradise finisher. The Miz appeared to “have his bell rung” by the kick and was checked for a concussion backstage. The Miz will also see a doctor today to determine if he sustained a concussion.
– WWE Champion CM Punk, an avid comic book fan who has been teasing that he’s going to be working on a graphic novel project, will be writing the introduction to a hardcover collection of Marvel Comics’ Avengers vs. X-Men series. Punk spoke to USA Today about the opportunity:
“I worked really hard to get to where I’m at and it’s cool to be afforded opportunities like this,” Punk said. “To me, it’s hard work paying off and I’m having a lot of fun right now.”
