WWE is playing up the fact that there may be some issues between CM Punk and Paul Heyman following the WWE Payback pay-per-view on Sunday night in Chicago.
WWE.com played into the storyline by adding a video that shows Heyman and Punk arguing backstage after Punk’s victory over Chris Jericho on the PPV.
In the video, Punk stresses that he’s not one of Heyman’s clients, but instead a friend. Punk told Heyman to be his friend and Heyman closed out by saying he would.
