The following is an excerpt from a “Stone Cold” Steve Austin interview on Sunday night with The LAW radio show out of Canada.
In the quote, Austin talks about Mark Henry’s “retirement swerve” from last week’s WWE RAW telecast.
“I caught it mid-way through – Mark laying down his retirement speech, the tears are coming from his eyes – but coming from that business, I saw it a mile away. When you’ve got John Cena as window dressing out there with that gold belt, you know if you’ve been around long enough that something’s going to happen, there’s gonna be an angle coming out of this. Mark Henry was tremendous, I loved it. Cena was the perfect guy to help him accomplish this task, I loved every second of it.”
