When WWE Started Having FOX Approve Scripts To Prepare For Profanity

WWE has to keep a lot of things in mind when they are producing live television. The words that talent say on the microphone can get heated, but they shouldn’t get profane. That changed for a couple promos in recent memory.

Dave Meltzer confirmed that there was a memo sent out to everyone regarding using profanities in promos. Cody Rhodes was allowed to use profanity to maintain his babyface persona, because he had to fire back at The Rock’s recent promo.

Why Cody Could Swear

Cody Rhodes took the microphone this week on WWE RAW, and he had a lot to say. He dropped a few profanities that the company isn’t allowing on their shows anymore. There is a good reason why Rhodes got to swear, because he was answering The Rock.

Dave Meltzer mentioned on Wrestling Observer Radio that there was indeed a memo circulated to everyone, confirming the situation regarding Cody Rhodes’ promo. Despite the memo, Rhodes was given the opportunity to deliver the promo with profanity because WWE wanted to maintain his babyface persona. This decision aimed to prevent Rhodes from appearing negatively compared to The Rock, who had a successful promo the previous week.

No, there was a memo. Everyone got it. I asked, “What was the deal? And it’s like, they knew that he [Rhodes] had to come back. But there’s absolutely a memo. I got that from several different guys, there’s been other reporters who have too. That’s not nothing. No one else is allowed to do that. But he was given the opportunity to do it because basically they wanted him to stay babyface, essentially. And I mean, if he came off badly on this promo and Rock came off so great in Memphis (last week’s SmackDown), it’s like, that’s not what they want. But he was fine. You know, he brought his dog in. I mean, it’s like, that’s all it is.”

The Rock raised a bit of controversy when he was allowed to drop profanities in his promos on television, and even more online, after WWE sent out a memo telling talent to cut out the language. Since he’s The Rock, then he can get away with a lot more.

When WWE Started Approving Scripts (Exclusive)

It was later reported that The Rock can get away with so many profanities because WWE sends the scripts into FOX for approval beforehand. Therefore, they know what dirty words are coming, and the bleep button is ready.

I was told by a tenured member of the creative team that, “We only started giving FOX The Rock’s promos in advance this week after they went to total blackness every time he cursed last time.”

WWE’s Memo About Profanities

I exclusively reported that Nick Khan, Paul Levesque, Dan Ventrelle sent out a memo “the other week” about how talent needs to adhere to PG guidelines on TV and also on social media. The Rock, like most things in his life at this point, is getting a bit of special treatment, and he got to say whatever he wanted to, regardless of guidelines.

There was an idea that a double standard is going around when it comes to promos. Now, it appears that Cody Rhodes is allowed to loosen up with the profanities as well.

Cody Rhodes, of course, is a top babyface in WWE right now. Known as The American Nightmare, he is still fighting to finish his story, and claim the title that alluded his father for years.

Their legacy spans decades, marked by memorable matches, iconic moments, and a dedication to the craft that continues to inspire future generations. Now, we know that the Rhodes Family’s legacy will continue with the Texas Outlaws.

The Rhodes Wrestling Academy

Cody Rhodes Lights Up WWE Raw With Explicit Profanity-Filled Promo Directed at The Rock

On WWE RAW this week, Cody Rhodes stirred controversy with his explicit language directed at The Rock, questioning his heel status. He also didn’t tone down his language much, which didn’t really fit with WWE’s PG guidelines.

Cody Rhodes took the microphone on WWE RAW with profane remarks directed at The Rock, questioning his status as a heel and insulting him with explicit language. Despite WWE’s PG guidelines, Cody’s use of profanity has sparked discussion about a potential double standard regarding promos. It seems that The Rock isn’t the only one who can use a potty mouth on live television nowadays.

Cody’s Potty Mouth on WWE RAW

Cody Rhodes started his promo out this week by saying that he doesn’t think The Rock is a heel. He said, “you’re not a heel, you’re an asshole.” That was a pretty big profanity to drop, but he wasn’t finished by a long shot.

Later on, the American Nightmare said that The Rock was a “little bitch,” as he made reference to how Dwayne Johnson “cried” to the TKO board after his WrestleMania match against Roman Reigns fell apart due to fan backlash.

Cody said that The Rock will have a case of LDS when WrestleMania 40 comes around. He clarified that this meant “little d*ck syndrome.” That also got an “LDS” chant going from the crowd.

Then Cody capped everything off by saying that The Rock is just going to be “Roman’s side chick” at Mania. It was quite a promo, and a fitting answer to The Rock’s many jabs at the former AEW EVP.

Paul Heyman came out after that, and the two started a back-and-forth promo that was rather uneventful. They set up this week’s SmackDown, but Cody didn’t let loose on any more four-letter words after the Wise Man came out to slow him down.

It was later said that The Rock can get away with so many profanities because WWE sends the scripts into FOX for approval beforehand. Therefore, they know what dirty words are coming, and the bleep button is ready.

SEScoops will keep our eye on this story, and so much more in the pro wrestling world. You never know what they will do, or say, next at this point

Nikkita Lyons Shares Return Timetable Update Following ACL and Meniscus Injury

WWE’s NXT brand houses Superstars of tomorrow, and few have drummed up as much hype from the internet as Nikkita Lyons. Sadly, Lyons was injured not long after she made her return from an even longer injury hiatus.

Lyons, as she fights to make her way back to the ring and avoid an injury prone stigma, already has a return date in her crosshairs. She recently revealed that she expects to be back by Halloween.

Lyons Speaks on her NXT Return

Nikkita Lyons offered a recovery update following injury setbacks. This will give her fans a good sign that things might turn around for her by the end of the year.

In January 2023, Lyons faced a torn ACL and meniscus, leading to an extended absence. Despite returning to NXT on December 5, she hasn’t competed since a loss to Blair Davenport on January 9, 2024. Recent reports noted Lyons’ ongoing injury concerns, although details remain unspecified.

While speaking with Booker T on his The Hall of Fame, Nikkita Lyons was asked to provide an update on her timeline. She has Halloween on her mind.

“It’s been two months since my surgery, and honestly, I feel like these two months went pretty quick, at least for me, because run on the grind every day. But right now, I’m hoping by Halloween Havoc. I’m hoping that’ll be a good time. But also I want to make sure…it should be ready to go. But I don’t want to say an exact, you know, like, ‘It’s gonna be here,’ because with injuries, it’s kind of day by day. Going back to the out of sight, I’m gonna stay active. I’m not going nowhere.”

“I ain’t going nowhere. That’s why I’m shoving myself in y’all face. Y’all are not gonna see this brick house blow down. That’s where I’m at, and that’s where I cross into my music and different forms of art that I can do, still talking to the people, being involved, going to these community events and charity events, like I ain’t going nowhere. I’m just gonna continue to improve in every other way I can until I can step in the squared circle again,”

What’s Next For Nikkita Lyons

WWE’s NXT brand usually holds a Halloween Havoc event every year. Only time will tell if Nikkita Lyons can roar her way back to the company’s developmental brand by that point.

If anything, she may not be seen on the USA Network again if her return stretches into November 2024. The brand is moving to the CW in November this year as part of their new television deal.

SEScoops will have more on this story, and so much more. You never know what will break next, so please keep checking back throughout the day to catch up on all the headlines you need!

AJ Styles Reveals How WWE Has Transformed Without Vince McMahon

Vince McMahon led WWE in his own way for decades. Things are much different now, as the company is operating in a much different way now. Triple H is calling the creative shots, and the change has been noticed throughout the business.

AJ Styles recently opened up about the change WWE experienced. While expressing his belief that WWE is no longer the same under Triple H’s guidance, Styles commended Triple H for his approach to talent development. He emphasized Triple H’s focus on nurturing talent and bringing out their best rather than highlighting their weaknesses, contrasting it with past practices under McMahon’s regime.

Changes in WWE

AJ Styles recently shared his thoughts on the evolution of talent treatment in WWE Styles appeared on The Battleground podcast, particularly under the leadership of Triple H compared to Vince McMahon’s tenure. According to Styles, there has been a noticeable shift in how wrestlers are perceived and valued within the company.

Reflecting on the emotional toll of talent releases, Styles conveyed empathy for performers whose careers were abruptly halted. He questioned the rationale behind releasing talent instead of providing them with opportunities to improve, advocating for a more supportive approach such as sending them back to NXT for further development.

“This isn’t the same WWE that Vince was in charge of,” Styles said during the interview. “I really believe that Triple H looks at our talent and goes, ‘Alright, let’s get them better or let’s find ways to bring out the best in them rather than show off the worst.'”

AJ Styles expressed his appreciation for Triple H’s approach to talent management in WWE, highlighting the shift in how wrestlers are valued compared to Vince McMahon’s era. Styles emphasized Triple H’s focus on improving talent rather than emphasizing their flaws, contrasting it with the past practice of releasing performers, which often devastated them.

A lot of those guys and girls, when they got released from WWE, it crushes them. I never understood why we would want to do something like that rather than just like, ‘Ok, let’s send them back to NXT, they just need a little bit more work’ or something like that.

Being released, it’ll crush you and I don’t want to see people, their lives being ruined because of a job. At the end of the day, it’s just a job, but still, it’s something they’ve worked for their whole life and then when you’re told you’re not good enough, man, that sucks.

But that’s not the way it is these days. Now, with Triple H in charge, I think he’s doing a great job of making everyone feel important.

WWE in the Future

TKO Group Holdings has WWE and UFC under one umbrella. Odds are, they will continue raking up big business for years to come, as sponsorship and huge money deals keep coming in.

Vince McMahon is no longer in the picture, and the company is arguably better off for it. The future looks bright in the post Vince era, and talent can also see the shift right in front of their eyes. Only time will tell how Triple H is remembered in pro wrestling history, but he’s off to a good start steering WWE into the future.

SEScoops will have more on this story, and so much more, as we continue on the road to WrestleMania 40. You never know what headline will pop up next, so please keep checking back for constant updates and the latest headlines.

WWE Star Raquel Rodriguez Sidelined Due to Health Concerns

WWE is on their way to WrestleMania 40, and Raquel Rodriguez was just getting herself back into the swing of things. Sadly, she is now off the road and we have no idea how long her hiatus will last.

Raquel Rodriguez has been pulled from WWE’s active roster due to health concerns, including a diagnosis of Mast Cell Activation Syndrome. The wrestling community hopes for her swift recovery and eventual return to the ring.

Raquel Rodriguez Pulled

Raquel Rodriguez recently faced a difficult situation due to personal health concerns. Now, PW Insider has reported that she is no longer on the active roster.

In January, Rodriguez disclosed her diagnosis with Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS), marked by allergic reactions like hives, swelling, and respiratory difficulties. This prompted her hiatus from WWE programming as she prioritized her well-being.

Rodriguez’s Brief WWE Return

Despite returning briefly in February, her condition resurfaced, raising doubts about her involvement in the WWE Elimination Chamber PLE event in Perth, Western Australia.

Fortunately, Rodriguez competed in the Women’s Elimination Chamber Match, won by Becky Lynch. Nonetheless, recent reports from Pwinsider suggest Rodriguez’s removal from WWE’s active roster. While the specific cause for her absence remains unclear, she’s currently listed among other sidelined talents.

We are sending out our best to Raquel Rodriguez during this time. It must be difficult to go through this, especially on the road to WrestleMania 40. Hopefully, she will be able to come back stronger than ever next time.

Asuka Sidelined: WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Injured on SmackDown

WWE’s road to WrestleMania 40 has hit another unfortunate speed bump. With just weeks to go until pro wrestling’s biggest weekend of the year, a key player on Triple H’s roster has gone down with an injury. During last week’s WWE SmackDown broadcast, Asuka appeared to sustain a knee injury.

Fans immediately noticed something was off when she began hobbling in the ring, which sparked fears about the severity of her condition.

The reigning Women’s tag team champion did not appear this weekend’s live events, a concerning sign about her health. We’ve got an update on Asuka’s status, courtesy of PWInsider. The Empress of Tomorrow’s knee injury is legitimate, as confirmed by multiple sources.

The extent of Asuka’s injury is still being determined and she’s been temporarily pulled from action as a precaution.

Asuka’s absence from the Women’s Tag Team division will undoubtedly be felt, as she is 1/2 of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions. As of this writing, the Kabuki Warriors don’t have a match booked, but she was obviously expected to be involved in Bayley and IYO Sky’s Women’s Title match some time during the show.

SEScoops will continue following this story closely and will provide an update when the details about Asuka’s medical evaluation are made public.

WWE Hall of Famer Afa the Wild Samoan’s Health Crisis Causes “Stressful Times” After Suffering Fall

WWE Hall of Famer Afa Anoa’i, part of the famed Wild Samoans tag team, has encountered significant health challenges recently, sparking concerns for his well-being. From battling pneumonia to enduring heart attacks and now facing fractures in his back, Afa’s journey to recovery has been marked by setbacks and hurdles.

Afa Anoa’i, known for his role in the Wild Samoans tag team, has faced several health challenges recently, raising concerns about his condition. Now the WWE Hall of Famer is in the hospital after suffering a fall.

Afa’s Medical Setback

Earlier this year, Afa battled pneumonia, which was further complicated by a mild heart attack during his hospitalization. His health worsened when he experienced a second small heart attack during his stay. Despite these obstacles, Afa was discharged in January.

Afa’s recovery was interrupted when he suffered a fall, resulting in fractures to his back in two places, as disclosed in a Facebook post by Afa Jr. The severity of the injury required his transfer to another hospital for specialized treatment, heightening worries about his health.

Update: My father fell and fractured his back in 2 places. He is currently being transferred into a different hospital. Continued prayers are requested as well as privacy during these stressful times. The family will post updates as they come

Support for Afa

There are 464 reactions to the post on Facebook so far, and they are all caring or showing their support during this time.

Afa the Wild Samoan was a part of WWE History, and his impression is still felt on the business to this day. We can only assume that he would be at WrestleMania 40 if this unfortunate medical setback didn’t get in his way.

SEScoops is sending Afa the best, and we hope that he makes it back to his feet in no time. Keep checking back for more of the headlines you need from all over the pro wrestling world.

Antler Surprise: Michael Cole Had No Clue Valhalla Would Fulfill His ‘Boyhood Dream’ On WWE RAW

WWE television is usually live, so you never know what will happen during a broadcast. Michael Cole can attest to that 100%, and sometimes it results in an impromptu amazing segment.

Michael Cole wore Valhalla’s antlers during the March 3 episode of WWE RAW, and he had an experience of ecstasy. Those antlers had been absent for weeks, but Cole fulfilled a childhood dream by wearing them. Valhalla later revealed in an interview that Cole was unaware of the moment before it occurred on the show.

Cole & The Antlers

Michael Cole has shown a particular interest in Valhalla’s antlers. After their absence for several weeks, he started to become a sad commentator, and he called out how the former Sarah Logan was missing her headgear. Then, things took a turn during a recent episode of RAW in San Antonio.

Valhalla made a dramatic entrance with her antlers, and in a memorable moment, she placed them on Cole. This overjoyed Michael as he proclaimed that a boyhood dream was achieved. Pat McAfee was thrilled to have witnessed this firsthand.

Cole continued his commentary seamlessly while wearing the antlers, and even mentioned that it fulfilled a childhood dream. He might not have been able to hear anyone in his ear during the match, but Triple H has been much more hands-off when it comes to commentary, contrary to Vince McMahon’s overwhelming edicts.

During an interview with Steve Fall, Valhalla talked about Michael Cole wearing her antlers on Monday Night RAW. Valhalla disclosed that Michael Cole was unaware of the spot before it happened on the show.

“No one knew I was doing that, especially not Michael Cole. That reaction of his was 100% organic and he had no idea that was happening. He just really loves those stinking antlers so I’m just gonna keep trying to integrate them as best I can.”

What’s next for Valhalla’s Antlers

We will have to see how WWE books Valhalla at WrestleMania 40. If she makes an appearance at the show of shows, you better believe she will break out her best set of antlers.

Michael Cole has given a lot to WWE, and he continues to be an anchor for their commentary team. We can only hope that he finds this much elation in the future, but he might be chasing that dragon in search of something to give him the same high that Valhalla’s antler experience put him though.

SEScoops will have more on this story and so much more as things break. Keep checking back throughout the day, because you never know what headlines will pop up next.

Prepare to Bleep: How FOX Keeps Up with The Rock’s WWE Profanity

The content of The Rock’s promos is getting a lot of attention. He said that standards and practices were upset, and SEScoops also reported that there were some questions from talent about why Dwayne Johnson is allowed to pull off non TV-PG promos.

It was recently explained that FOX receives The Rock’s script in advance to anticipate censoring any inappropriate language, ensuring compliance with network standards. This allows The Rock more flexibility in his speech, with FOX preemptively bleeping out any offensive content to maintain a smooth broadcast.

WWE’s Approval Process

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer discussed WWE’s television deal, noting that FOX receives The Rock’s script in advance to anticipate when to censor certain content. Despite the scripted nature of The Rock’s promos, FOX ensures they can bleep out any inappropriate language.

This arrangement highlights a unique dynamic where The Rock enjoys more flexibility in his promos while still adhering to network standards. Therefore, any potentially offensive content is preemptively addressed.

“The deal with the TV, what they (WWE) have to do is, FOX gets the (Rock’s) script ahead of time so they know when to bleep. Because the whole thing, the Rock’s promo, obviously it’s completely scripted.”

“But if it was anyone else, they would just be not allowed to say it, but with The Rock, it’s like, he can say whatever he wants, but they know what he’s gonna say and when he’s gonna say it, so anything they wanna bleep out, they will bleep out. And they know when to bleep it out because they’re told ahead of time.”

“So that’s kind of the gist of the promo and why certain things were bleeped out and everything like that, and they didn’t miss on anything.”

The Rock is Special

I exclusively reported that a recent memo emphasized the need for talent to follow PG guidelines on TV and social media. Despite this, The Rock’s use of profanity, like in a recent promo, has raised questions among talent about double standards. They wonder why he’s allowed to curse while others aren’t.

The Rock also fired off a response to anyone who has a problem with what he says. He made it clear that he does not give the slightest care about what anyone thinks about his promos. He’s there to be a heel, and that is exactly what he’s doing.

SEScoops will keep covering this story, just in care there are more updates. You never know what will happen on the road to WrestleMania, so keep checking back throughout the day for more headlines!

Logan Paul Picks NSFW Way Of Saying He Won’t Lose WrestleMania 40 Triple Threat Match

Logan Paul is still riding a wave of momentum as WWE United States Champion. He has a match set for WrestleMania 40, but it may not be the circumstances that he prefers, because he’s in a triple threat situation.

The Maverick recently took a chance to break down his WrestleMania match during his Impaulsive podcast. He had a lot to say about Kevin Owens and Randy Orton, and he doesn’t seem too shaken up about the possibility of losing his belt.

The Match Set-Up

Last week on SmackDown, Randy Orton and Grayson Waller engaged in singles action. Logan Paul provided commentary, but the situation escalated after the match. Orton found himself outnumbered, seemingly becoming the prey rather than the predator.

However, Kevin Owens’ entrance music played, signaling his arrival. Sensing trouble, Logan Paul sought refuge as KO came to Orton’s aid. With the heels retreating, Nick Aldis made his presence felt, asserting his authority as GM. He arranged a WrestleMania triple threat match for the US Title, with Logan defending against Owens and Orton.

The Maverick Responds

Logan Paul fired back on this segment through his TikTok account. He called Kevin Owens a “human bowling ball” and also dragged Orton a bit by rubbing it in how he took him out of the Elimination Chamber match with some brass knuckles.

In the end, LP said that WWE booked two guys that he already ticked off to face him at WrestleMania. This might be a tough spot to be in, but he isn’t afraid of the situation. In the end, he said that he won’t get “gang banged” at WrestleMania.

Logan Paul brought a lot of eyes to WWE with his involvement with the company. Some would say that he was born to be a heel in WWE, and he is certainly making the most of every opportunity he is given.

Logan Paul’s Road as WWE US Champion

On October 14, 2023, following his victory over Dillon Danis in a boxing match at MF & DAZN: X Series 10 – The Prime Card, Paul publicly called out United States Champion Rey Mysterio. Then, on the October 20, 2023, episode of SmackDown, Mysterio agreed to Paul’s challenge for a title match at Crown Jewel. During the event on November 4, Paul claimed the United States Championship by employing brass knuckles against Mysterio, marking his inaugural WWE championship win.

Paul when went on to defend his title against Kevin Owens at the Royal Rumble event. During that match, Austin Theory and Grayson Waller provided Paul with brass knuckles to employ against Owens. In an interesting turn of events, Owens ended up using the knuckles on Paul instead. However, the referee detected Owens holding the knuckles, resulting in Paul retaining the title via disqualification.

Heartfelt Promise: Cody Rhodes Vows to Attend Young Fan’s 5th Birthday Celebration

Cody Rhodes has fans all around the world, and they are all too aware that he is one of the best babyfaces on the planet. He’s known to go above and beyond for the fans, and this is no exception.

Rhodes, who is known for his genuine connection with fans, recently pledged to attend a young supporter’s 5th birthday celebration following a WWE live event. Of course, this was captured on video and now we have the clip here.

Known for his ability to prioritize fan interactions during WWE live events, and sometimes going viral in the process, this is no exception. Rhodes consistently takes time to greet fans, sign autographs, and take photos with his Nightmare Family at ringside. He’s also known to engage in banter from time to time.

Best Birthday Party Guest Ever?

During a recent WWE Live Event in North Charleston, Rhodes noticed a fan holding a sign inviting him to their upcoming fifth birthday party. While engaging with the fan, Rhodes inquired about the date and volunteered to bring a gift or a casserole. That was followed by accepting this young fans’ offer.

Should I go to his birthday party? When is it, June 25th? Am I supposed to bring a gift? I could bring a casserole. I’m supposed to bring a casserole to his 5th birthday which is gonna be on a Wednesday. North Charleston, should I do it? My answer is yes.”

Cody Accepting Fan Invites

This is nothing new for Cody Rhodes. He once agreed to be the best man at a fan’s wedding as well. We’re not sure if he followed through with that yet, but he has a very busy schedule with WWE.

Only time will tell if Cody is able to make that June 25th birthday party in North Charleston. It seems like he is marking off the day for this young fan.

Kenny Omega had a glowing review of John Cena’s career.

El Hijo del Vikingo had to relinquish his AAA title due to injury.

Swerve Strickland performed at Rolling Loud Los Angeles. It looks like he received a great reception during the festival.

Parker Boudreaux Says AAA is ‘Home’ Amid AEW Hiatus

WWE had Parker Boudreaux in their NXT brand for a while, and he performed under the name Harlow. Now, he is off to new ventures, and it appears that he is branching out into a new home as well.

Parker Boudreaux recently showed up at a AAA show. Fans had a lot of questions about his AEW status, because it’s been a year since he has been seen on Tony Khan’s shows. Now, Parker has something to say about his situation.

Parker Boudreaux Speaks

During the AAA event on March 17, Parker Boudreaux made an unexpected appearance. As part of his debut, he targeted Octagon Jr. and Mecha Wolf, prompting El Mesías to intervene and confront Boudreaux. Now, fans are wondering what is going on with his status in the pro wrestling world.

In an Instagram video by Lucha Libre Online, Parker Boudreaux discussed his debut with AAA and his motives for being there. He made it clear that AAA is a new home for him, but it isn’t the only one.

“I’m here to show the whole world that I’m the big guy, the most versatile young athlete/wrestler there is on the market right now, and I’m with AAA, one of my new homes. I can’t wait to show the whole world what’s up,” Boudreaux stated.

He hinted at ongoing developments between himself and Mesías, urging fans to stay tuned for further updates. He seems to have something brewing in AAA, but that doesn’t include Tony Khan’s company.

Parker Boudreaux has been absent from wrestling since March 2023. He was taken out of action with an injury, and he hasn’t been seen since. Now, we have to wonder if the former NXT Superstar’s time in AEW is over.

What’s Next For Parker

Parker did not say that he is 100% gone from AEW. Tony Khan did remove him from the Mogul Affiliates stable when he was injured, and Swerve Strickland went in another direction with his faction.

At this point, Parker will keep making a lot of noise wherever he goes. At this point, fans should expect him to display a raw dominance in the ring. Hopefully, he gets plenty of chances to show fans what he is capable of in the future.

WWE NXT’s Cora Jade Steals the Show While Attending Rolling Loud Los Angeles Festival

WWE has a few Superstars who are out of action with injuries, and NXT lost a big asset when Cora Jade was taken out of action. Despite that injury setback, she’s not going to let it interfere with her concert experience.

Cora Jade was recently spotted at Rolling Loud in Los Angeles. She had a big smile on her face while posing for social media. It was obviously great to get out for the big music festival.

Rolling Loud LA x Cora Jade

Cora Jade may be out of action with an ACL injury, but she still commands attention whenever she is spotted. She took the opportunity to attend Rolling Loud in Los Angeles, and it was quite a show.

In a recent update shared on her Instagram, Cora Jade unveiled snapshots of herself at the Rolling Loud concert. Despite wearing a knee brace, she was very happy to be there.

Artists like Future, Metro Boomin, Chief Keef, and NLE Choppa were featured at the concert, but Cora Jade wasn’t the only pro wrestling representative there. In fact, Swerve Strickland had a spot on the big lineup.

Cora Jade lives in Orlando, so this was quite a trip for her. She obviously had no issue flying out to Los Angeles for the show, even with her injury.

Jade’s Injury

Cora Jade’s journey in pro wrestling faced its share of obstacles. She tore her ACL recently, and she’s on the mend now. That sad injury came just months after she returned to the ring from a long hiatus.

Despite the setback, she hasn’t allowed it to dampen her spirits. It’s good to see Cora Jade is getting out there. Hopefully, she will be back on NXT television soon enough.

SEScoops will have more from this story, and so much more in the pro wrestling world. You never know what will happen next, especially with so much going on.

Handshake Deal: NJPW Talent Was Working Without A Contract Until Recently

Pro wrestling contracts are very important to the business. It helps companies lock down talent to make sure they can use them for later. Then again, contracts are not essential in every case.

It seems that NJPW star Gabe Kidd has actually been working without a contract. This has left him working for the company for well over a month on a handshake deal.

Gabriel Kidd’s Contract Status

According to Fightful Select, Gabe Kidd’s contract with NJPW was expected to expire in January. It lapsed, leaving him without a contract for approximately a month and a half.

Despite this contract situation, he continued to participate in key events such as the major cage match with Bullet Club War Dogs in February and New Japan Cup matches in March.

Now it is reported that Kidd has inked a new deal with New Japan Pro Wrestling. The specifics of the contract terms have yet to be disclosed. During the past few weeks, Kidd has been in Japan, actively participating in matches for the New Japan Cup shows.

Gabe Kidd in NJPW

Gabe Kidd is known for his contributions to Bullet Club and Bullet Club War Dogs, the 26-year-old wrestler is viewed as a potential rising star within NJPW. Now, it seems that he will be sticking around NJPW for even longer.

The Man Goes To Washington: Becky Lynch Represents WWE With President Joe Biden

Becky Lynch has been afforded a ton of great opportunities in her career. Now, she can add meeting President Joe Biden to that list. The Man was in Washington DC today for St. Patrick’s Day, and she had quite a time.

President Biden met with Becky Lynch today, as she represented Ireland on St. Patrick’s Day. She was received a vote of confidence from Biden as he said that she is going to win it all.

Becky Goes To Washington

Becky Lynch attended an event at the White House alongside other prominent Irish figures on St. Patrick’s Day. Following the occasion, she shared her thoughts on Instagram, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to represent both Ireland and WWE.

It was an honor to represent Ireland & @WWE for St. Patrick’s Day at the @whitehouse. @POTUS said Becky Balboa is winning it all in Philly, had myself a pint, and even classed up the library with a little gift

Now that The Man has the POTUS’ endorsement, it looks like she is going into WrestleMania 40 with even more steam. We will have to see if this boost of confidence gives Lynch added motivation for the grandest stage of them all.

Flowers Received: Kenny Omega Hails John Cena’s Contributions to Pro Wrestling Industry

John Cena has done a lot in his career as a 16x World Champion. Not only that, but his contributions to the overall industry has not gone unnoticed.

Kenny Omega gave John Cena flowers for his contributions to professional wrestling during a recent Twitch stream. He said that Cena is what the face of a pro wrestling company should be at this point.

Omega Speaks on Cena

During a recent Twitch stream, Kenny Omega shared his admiration for John Cena and the significant impact Cena has had on the professional wrestling industry. They have never shared the ring as part of the same company, but Omega certainly sees Cena.

Kenny Omega expressed his admiration for John Cena, highlighting Cena’s significant contributions to the professional wrestling industry. Despite not having personally met Cena, Omega praised him as a great professional wrestler who has made an immense impact on the business.

“No, I have not [met Cena], but I think he’s great. Great professional wrestler. He’s done an incredible amount for the business, I don’t think anyone will be able to match anytime soon. The reason why is because Cena wasn’t doing anything for the sake of an accomplishment or trophy or recognition.”

“People went out of their way after the fact to say, ‘look at all this stuff John is doing in his off time.’ Maybe he even laughs at it himself, but for the amount of effort he has put in to make people’s lives better, whether it be Make A Wish, fans at the arenas, or autograph signings, it’s a great example for what the face of a company should be or for the face of the industry. I’m a very big proponent of John Cena. I think he’s incredible.”

Cena and Omega

Omega and Cena represent contrasting paths within the wrestling world. While Omega has carved out his niche outside WWE, Cena’s tenure as a WWE mainstay embodied his status as a symbol of sports entertainment. Despite these differences, Omega’s acknowledgment of Cena’s achievements underscores the mutual respect that exists among wrestlers, regardless of company lines.

Only time will tell if Kenny Omega and John Cena ever meet. Odds are, Omega has Cena’s respect as well. So, a possible future meeting between the two might go very well.

John Cena’s career in Hollywood keeps him away from WWE. He is also not planning on wrestling into his 50s. Kenny Omega, on the other hand, is sitting out of action right now as he recovers from a diverticulitis attack.

After all, when John Cena met MJF, things went very well. Cena also asked the Salt of the Earth when he plans on playing for a different team.

Shawn Spears Pitched WWE For “Perfect 10” Royal Rumble Return

WWE has seen some exciting returns over the past year. NXT fans were very surprised to see Shawn Spears return to the brand, but they almost saw him on a much larger stage prior to that.

It turns out that Shawn Spears made a pitch to WWE for him to be a part of the 2024 Royal Rumble match. Of course, that proposed plan did not pan out.

Shawn Spears’ Pitch

Leading up to the 2024 Royal Rumble, some fans expressed a hope for Shawn Spears/Tye Dillinger’s return to WWE as the number 10 entrant, playing on his “Perfect 10” persona.

In his first post-AEW interview with Fightful, Shawn Spears confirmed that he had indeed pitched ideas for the Royal Rumble. He mentioned that he had “shot his shot,” for that idea to go down. Unfortunately, the plans for the Rumble had already been finalized by then, so Spears didn’t make the Rumble match.

What’s Next for Shawn Spears

Shawn Spears is back in NXT, where he has a lot of upside to what he brings to the table. He is a veteran who could benefit the brand in many ways. Only time will tell if he gets another Royal Rumble appearance, but fans will be waiting for him in the 10th entry.

Charlotte Flair Advertised For WWE SmackDown During Injury Hiatus

You never know who might show up on the road to WrestleMania 40. It appears that Charlotte Flair might make her presence felt on SmackDown later this month, even though she is currently injured.

Despite the fact that she is injured, Charlotte Flair is now being advertised for the March 29th Friday Night SmackDown episode at The Mohegan Sun Arena. This is a very interesting turn of events, but the card is always subject to change.

Charlotte Flair Advertised During Injury

Charlotte Flair faced a challenge after sustaining a knee injury during a December 8th, 2023, Friday Night SmackDown episode, necessitating surgery. Despite this setback, recent updates reveal a remarkable recovery as she diligently undergoes rehabilitation.

Flair surprised fans by returning to the gym in rapid fashion after her ACL surgery. She obviously doesn’t want to waste any time when it comes to her return.

In an interesting turn of events, promotions for the upcoming March 29th Friday Night SmackDown episode at The Mohegan Sun Arena feature Charlotte Flair. However, it remains uncertain whether she will make an appearance during the show.

Despite her absence from WWE television due to injury, Charlotte Flair has been confirmed for WWE World on April 6th as well. That being said, her appearance on the promotional graphic makes some fans wonder if The Queen will also be present for the March 29th SmackDown episode.

What’s Going On Here (Exclusive)

I reached out to inquire about Charlotte Flair appearing on this graphic. I was told that she is still out of action, and she is not booked. There are several reasons why an absent Superstar would be advertised by a venue, because if is not an official promotion that the company can necessarily control.

It is possible that they are using a generic graphics, but other Superstars featured include Carlito, Jimmy Uso, LA Knight, Austin Theory, and Bianca Belair. It is interesting that no Superstars are listed in the advertisement, but Flair is certainly featured up front. That being said, she would have also been featured up front on any SmackDown graphic that they made up and sent out prior to her injury.

At this time, Flair is still working hard toward her return from injury. She is not booked for any WrestleMania match, because her current return date is expected for Fall 2024.

What’s Next For Charlotte Flair

Meanwhile, Flair’s husband, Andrade el Idolo, has made his return to WWE and is now part of the RAW brand. This goes against WWE’s usual practice of not separating couples across brand lines.

The future holds intrigue for Charlotte Flair, but it appears she will indeed be present for the road to WrestleMania 40 in some respect with her announced appearance at WWE The World on April 6. Hopefully, it won’t be long until she makes a full return to the ring.

AJ Styles Drops WrestleMania Message: LA Knight Won’t See Him On SmackDown

AJ Styles jumped LA Knight at Elimination Chamber, and now the two will battle at WrestleMania 40. That being said, they might not get a lot of face time with each other prior to the showcase of the immortals.

Styles dropped a video message on social media where he proudly proclaimed that LA Knight won’t see him on SmackDown before they throw down in Philly.

The Match Setup

LA Knight was on hand this week to issue a challenge for WrestleMania. AJ Styles was there to accept that challenge, and he did so by pulling off another brutal sneak attack. Now, Knight has vowed to take Styles apart, but he will have to get his hands on him first.

AJ Styles was bold and happy to announce on Twitter/X that he will not be on SmackDown. He said that LA Knight will see him at WrestleMania 40 for their match. That being said, fans may not see much of Styles until then.

Interestingly enough, that LA Knight segment on SmackDown this week was not included on the internal rundown. The fans in Memphis were certainly happy to see it go down, as they gave Knight a great ovation.

LA Knight’s Road to WrestleMania

LA Knight was a fan favorite in the Elimination Chamber, but he didn’t win the match. AJ Styles jumped him and made it very difficult for him to win the match after assaulting him out of nowhere. This week on SmackDown, LA Knight finally had a chance to talk about it. This resulted in a WrestleMania 40 challenge.

Fans flocked around LA Knight over the last year, and his popularity has grown a ton since then. Now, we will have to see how he performs on the grandest stage of them all. Odds are, even if AJ Styles isn’t on SmackDown, LA Knight will keep their feud hot with his promo work.

SEScoops will have more on this story, and so many more, on the road to WrestleMania. You never know what can happen next, but we will be here with the headlines you need.

WWE Comeback: Kelly Kelly Wants Her Twins To See Her Wrestle

WWE gets in your blood, and it’s hard to shake it from your system. This is especially true for a WWE Hall of Famer like Kelly Kelly. She wants to wrestle in front of her children, so a WWE comeback is not off the table.

When asked about a possible WWE return during a recent virtual autograph signing, Kelly Kelly seemed very open to the idea. She wants her twins to see her wrestle.

Kelly Kelly Talks WWE Comeback

Kelly Kelly has left WWE behind and is focusing on other things. Now going as Barbie Blank, she is still known to book appearances in the pro wrestling world. She is also apparently still open to the idea of a WWE return.

The former WWE Divas took part in a virtual signing for RDP Promotions. She was asked about a possible WWE comeback down the road. She actually didn’t shut the door on the idea, as she seemed open to the prospect.

She responded, ”I would be open to a comeback… We’ll see. I want my twins to come and watch me one day so…”

On May 29, 2020, Blank was engaged to bodybuilder Joe Coba. They exchanged vows on April 9, 2021, in Oak Glen, California. On March 28, 2023, Blank announced her pregnancy with her first child. In April, she shared the news of expecting twins, and on September 10, she welcomed her son Jaxon Matthew and daughter Brooklyn Marie.

Kelly Kelly in WWE

Kelly Kelly was once part of WWE’s women’s division, and she is now a WWE Hall of Famer thanks to those contributions. She started her journey in the company’s version of ECW and rose to become a Women’s Champion. Though currently inactive in WWE, she recently expressed interest in returning.

During her six-year tenure as a full-time wrestler from 2006 to 2012, Kelly Kelly achieved significant milestones during her time in WWE. She held the WWE Divas Championship once and the WWE 24/7 Championship once. In addition, she won a Slammy Award for Divalicious Moment of the Year in 2011. Kelly Kelly was also recognized by Pro Wrestling Illustrated, being ranked No. 15 in the PWI Female 50 in 2011.

Since then, she has made occasional appearances for WWE, including three women’s Royal Rumble matches, the latest being in 2022, and a Battle Royal at the Evolution pay-per-view in 2018.

SEScoops will be here for any further updates on Kelly Kelly, or anything else in the pro wrestling world. Keep checking back throughout the day for constant updates.

Stealthy Dominance: Omos’ Quiet WWE Streak Goes Unnoticed

WWE only has so much time on television, so they can’t fit every Superstar on the screen each week. Someone like Omos takes up a lot of real estate on camera, but he hasn’t been seen in a while.

Omos is still working WWE house shows. As a special attraction, he is doing his thing. He also racked up an impressive state in the process, as the big man from Nigeria now has 25 wins over Akira Tozawa in a row.

Omos’ Impressive Stat

Omos has not graced WWE television screens since his return at SummerSlam following a hiatus post-WrestleMania. Despite occasional appearances at live events, Omos’s television presence remains notably absent.

While speaking to SEScoops, Omos admitted that he is a special attraction, and he shows up when there is money to be made. He’s done some work in recent memory, but it’s been under the radar unless you’ve been at WWE live events.

During a WWE house show on Saturday, Omos continued to showcase his dominance by securing his 25th consecutive victory over Akira Tozawa, a streak dating back to last July. With a 15-1 record in 2024, Omos maintains an impressive track record following his notable 33-4 performance the previous year.

WWE’s Plan For Omos

As a special attraction, there are no concrete creative plans for Omos yet. While he occasionally competes in live events, Omos’s absence from TV programming persists.

I exclusively reported that WWE is holding Omos for the right time. I asked about Omos’ current creative status, and was told that WWE is “holding Omos for the right program for either him or an opponent who could use a big win.”

SEScoops will have more on this story, and so much more in the pro wrestling business. Please keep checking back for even more updates.
